I called & left several messages before I got a return call. He came out to do a walk through for a quote 1 week ago & I have yet to receive it.

It was a 2 day job involving a moderate amount of detailed painting, including walls, crown molding, and baseboards. The owner's crew performed a clean job, and even painted an unexpected fourth coat on our kitchen walls at no additional charge as we were changing from a deep burgundy to off-white, to ensure no bleed through.

I called this contractor to get an estimate for a small 1 room job of fixing and painting a ceiling and the dental crown moulding around the small room. There was some confusion about the time of the appointment. I thought we said 1pm he wrote down 1:30. No big deal, it could've been just as easily my mistake. He looked at the job and took my email address and said he would work up the estimate that evening. That was Tuesday, it's now Friday and I've yet to receive an email from him with the estimate. I already hired someone else who gave me the price right there on the spot. I'm not understanding why an estimate needed to be worked up. He gave me a price over the phone at first but then I insisted he come look at the job before quoting a price.

This was our second time using WeAreNeat. We didn't call anyone else. We never considered it. They power washed the exterior of the house, primed the areas that needed it, and painted (stained) the house exterior and the back deck. They came when they said they would, they did what they said they would. It wasn't a small job either. The desk is roughly 1000 sq feet, and the house is a 2700 sq foot colonial. When we need painting done this is who we're calling. I don't care about coupons in the mail or Angie's List big Deals. Next time we need a painter we'll call Vilmar.

Valmar gave us the most reasonable estimate, out of 3 providers we interviewed. He did the work in a timely manner and was very neat. The product he recommended is excellent. We would use him again in the future.

All around an easy and pleasant experience. Vilmar and his staff were very professional, great work and they left the space neat and clean. I will definitely use them again!

We are neat painting. Had to to work around all the rain we had this time of year. They keep me informed of there planned work. The finished painted deck is like new. It is over 20 years old. And will last many more years. If you are looking for a painter you can not go wrong with we are neat painting.

Excellent experience from quote to finished job. Very specific quote left no question of what was & was not to be done. Great prep work. Worked daily (ex Sunday) until the job was finished. The work was done in an orderly manner, minimizing disruption to our daily lives. The painters were very quiet & professional. Great care was taken to all details and they are very neat! The finished job looks fantastic. We would have Vilmar his crew back to work here anytime.

Everything went perfectly. I called Vilmar for an estimate. He arrived on time, always a good start. His estimate was less than any of the other quotes, but more importantly, it made sense. We had gotten two other quotes for the job. Each of the other contractors had broken the job into two pieces. Although the two quotes ended up being quite close one wanted 1550 for the outside wall and the other wanted 350! The company that bid 350 for the exterior wanted 2600 for the interior, the other guy 1450 for the interior. When I pointed this out to one of the two contractors all he said was "my numbers are right". Vilmar came with numbers that made more sense. They started working when they said they would. The interior was emptied of most furniture, the stuff that wasn't removed from the room was thoroughly covered, as was the floor. There was no way any paint was getting on anything other than the walls The wallpaper came down, the holes were patched, everything was primed and painted. Each night they left the room clean of general debris. There were always at least two guys working, sometimes three in the family room and it still took 4 days. It's a large room. When the job was completed they replaced all the furniture and even vacuumed the kitchen to take care of the dust from sanding. The crew didn't re-hang the blinds they took down, Vilmar came the next day to do that. He would have re-connected the TV as well, but I already had. We've already recommended We Are Neat to friends. Next spring I expected they'll paint the exterior of our house. I can't say enough nice things. We had read the reviews, we were a little skeptical to be honest. They were everything the reviews said the reviews said they were, and more. My wife on several occasions told me she was impressed. That's like getting a 10 from the East German judge!

We recently had a breezeway enclosed that we needed to paint. Between multiple types of trim, new steps, etc... it was too much for us to do on our own. Enter Vilmar who was fantastic. In 2 quick days he prepped the drywall, primed & painted (multiple coats) the walls, trim, ceiling and steps. He was incredibly neat and thorough and did a fantastic job. We will absolutely use Vilmar again for future painting needs.

I agree with all the excellent results. This was our experience. We left for work and the job got done and we did not miss a beat. From the proposal to the finished product, it was very professional. The workers were friendly and very accomodating. It made a stressful experience into a pleasant one. We could not say enough good things and the painting was excellent.

They work in teams of 2 to 3 depending on job size (This project was very large - Foyer and hall way with high ceiling, Family room, Kitchen, Dining room. They came in and moved furniture, do patch work, prepped for painting and are very professional. There work is impeccable! Cleaned up after them selves, couldn't tell that they were there. Looks like a brand new house! Wife could not be happier and like they say, happy wife is a happy life! Vilmar, can't thank you enough. Great Job to you and your team!

We were extremely happy with Vilmar's work and his price. He gave us by far the best price out of all the estimates we got, and he executed flawlessly. The painting was done well and on time. And he went above and beyond: he noticed that in a few rooms we were not repainting, the people who moved out had left open nailholes and other routine move-out damage (from, e.g., taking down curtain rods or shelves). On his own initiative (we were still in the middle of moving up to CT), he found the correct paint that the prior owners had left behind and fixed all the spots. He then told me that if I was happy with it, I could pay (he charged very little for this extra work), but if not for any reason, I didn't need to pay. Needless to say, I was very happy for this extra, very economical and well-done work, and gladly paid for it. I highly recommend Vilmar and will use WeAreNeat again, for certain.

Overall, it went smoothly. They finished on time and treated our home as if it was their own.

The workers were neat, on time and completed the job as required. I'm very pleased with the work they did and would be happy to employ We Are Neat painters again in the future.

Vilmar's team was fast and effective. The work looks fantastic and was accomplished in reasonable time, especially given the incredibly rainy season painters everywhere have been fighting. I opted to use a Consumer Reports recommended stain (Behr) over two other recommendations by Vilmar, and he was perfectly able to accommodate my desire to do so. I would hire this crew again.

The project went extremely well. For both the interior and exterior painting projects, Vilmar provided a very thorough proposal with a good price. He and his team were punctual, professional, and expertly painted our house. They patiently answered our questions. We were very happy with the quality of the work and will use them again if we have additional projects.

Went incredibly well. Provided a fair quote and easily read agreement. Constant contact as to availability and scheduling. Vilmar and his crew did a great job. Always on time and worked the week without taking off to go to other jobs. Very reliable. Crew was friendly. Owner not home during job and had no issues with crew in the house. 1 year warranty.

Repaired all holes, sanded everything and then painted. I was very happy with his work and will continue to use him for all of my painting. He is a nice man and his helpers continuously worked and were also very good. They moved all the furniture, covered all floors and furniture, put everything back together and cleaned up very well.

I was pleased with the price but I had to contact them again to get the estimate again. The second estimate did not include everything that we talked about. I did not like the quality of the estimate. They seemed to be very knowledgeable. I was able to find somebody more responsive to do the job for the same price.

Everything was great. Price came in somewhat lower than I had anticipated, but quality was outstanding. I couldn't tell where Vilmar had spackled holes in the wall even when staring at the spots where I knew they had been. He also finished right on time, which was important for a rug installation. I would not consider calling anyone else for any future painting needs.
