The Gilder

I really like the work he did. He took a long time to prepare the furniture for refinishing. We had agreed upon 2 weeks but it was more like 3 1/2 weeks. It was worth the wait.

We are delighted by the work done to repair and conserve an antique table and chairs. The turn-around time was shorter than expected and I'd heartily recommend The Gilder.

The Gilder was everything I hoped for when I considered refinishing my ash dining room table and chairs! He arrived as scheduled, was knowledgeable, gave a fair estimate and worked with me to suit my prompt time frame. He was courteous and careful of my furniture and home when he picked up the set. He was proud of his work when he returned the set...and very rightly so as it was even lovelier than when it was brand new! His team even did a beautiful job reupholstering the seats with my chosen fabric. I will use him again and definitely recommend him to all my friends and colleagues.

Luciano was on time for each appt. that I made with him - he was honorable with regards to his estimate - his work was outstanding and based on the results of his first job with me - I have scheduled to have more work done with him - I would highly recommend his work and his work methods - as I work myself - he is amenable to my schedule and works his around mine but in each case - has kept his word - VERY important in this type of business.
