Godo Painting

Description of Work: George first came to do some painting on a high part of a stairwell wall. He did about 8 square yards for about $100.00. It required a special ladder and a fine touch, which he did quickly and very well. It was in a precarious place, so that was the difficulty. We then asked him to add two closets to a wing of our home, where each door was about 2.5ft wide and 3.0ft high. He had to cut into dry wall, then paint the inside, put inexpensive molding at the bottom, expensive molding on the outside of both closets, painted the trim and then the doors. He added the same hardware with which the home was made. The weight of the door was solid and strong and opens and closes perfectly. He called a friend in when there was some minor electrical work, for which the electrician was bonded and insured, at no cost to me. The total, including labor and material, insulation,painting, sheetrocking, taping, some of which he had to order, manual labor and the electrician came to $2500.00. He then caulked 2 stairwells due to settling of the house, painted over it, and then tidied up by painting the side molding for each step on both sides of both stairwells. He was here at 8:00-8:30AM and left when he could go no farther. (paint had to dry, etc...) He used the garage as a place of sawing and other carpentry work and cleaned up after each day. Same for the other places where he did do the painting and sheetrocking, every night.
