+ 4 more.Generally very good. Always comes as promised. Very quick to respond to extra requests. Very professional. Not sure what we've actually spent with Chad's as it has added up as we've asked for extra things over the years. I especially like that they come as promised every week.
Description of Work: fixed stone walkway and replaced broken stones; cleared alot of brush and dead leaf trash; weekly mowing for over 2 years Came immediately and took down a tree blown over in wind storm that was blocking driveway - we were especially grateful for that!

Description of Work: Called company and Chad (the owner) actually answered the phone!! He was very helpful even though his services weren't exactly what I was looking for. He took the time and effort to give me 3 referrals and their phone numbers who were more specific to my needs. I had had 3 companies not show up to do the job and was very frustrated. He explained to me in this business you had to be very specific and geographically specific. I was taken by his willingness to help. An owner really working his business!!

+ 0 moreWe needed to install 3 very large trees up a steep wet hill. The backyard gave him some challenges but he said it would work and it did as planned. The trees were excellent quality that were far better and much cheaper than the local nurseries I went to. The service was more expensive but the total cost was less costly with less costly trees. Most places I went to could not even provide the size of trees I was looking for.. Their cleanliness was exceptional Not only did they clean up from a very difficult situation, they also repaired damages caused by workers who had removed trees a couple of week ago. Overall I would rate working with them as exceptional.

+ 1 moreThey've always been good. I did have one problem with them, which never was resolved. And that's the did a landscape design and planting. It was actually the second landscape design that they had done for us. And a couple of the plants didn't survive, and they have a policy that they'll replace the plants if they die within two years. And I could never get them back out here to look at my plants, to replace them. Then when they showed up, when I was at work, he didn't call or say he was coming, he came around 6:00 and I wasn't here and my husband didn't know which plants and that was the end of it. So, that was disappointing, but all the other things they've done, the plantings they did the previous year and that year, their design was great. It's just that one problem, but it doesn't stop me from using them for the deep root feeding. They're professional. They come, they do a good job when they're here, that kind of thing. They're not inexpensive. The first year they did the planting, my husband works for a company that we can get the plants at wholesale and they planted our plants, which a lot of places won't do. I would work with them again, but I would get my plants elsewhere, since they didn't replace the plants that was theirs, as per their guarantee.

+ -1 moreWe called Chad to get an estimate for landscaping work. He returned the call quickly and we set up an appointment. Chad showed up on time and we went through the things we wanted. So far so good. He was to put together a plan ($300) and present it and we were to go from there. We agreed and my wife set up another appointment to go over the plan and his recommendations. Well, the appointment came and went and Chad failed to show up. He never called to cancel. In fact over the next 10 days we called him 3 different times (both office and cell) and have yet to get a return call. I left my office early on the night he was supposed to meet with us so in addition to an inconvenience, he seems to value his tie. I would not let him do for work even it was for free.

Description of Work: I called Chad to do some extensive yardwork and attention to flower beds that have been neglected for years. Chad came out and gave us an estimate and understood what we wanted. He was very knowledgable of flowers that were in our yard. We needed this done in a short amount of time because we were having our son's first birthday party and Chad told us if he could do it, he would. His crew was there three days later, and they were nothing but professional and hard working. They did a great job and everyone who saw it said it looked much better. I will be calling him to help us design a new landscape for our property.

Description of Work: Chad mowed the grass, and did a little bit of pruning work on request. His services are a bit limited. He does not do any kind of chemicals, including weed control.

+ -1 moreCalled the company and someone called back quickly but they said they didn't just do snow removal unless it was combined with other services for the property that were going to be rendered. Not surprising but not positive to say the least as we clearly indicated that it wasn't just our house that was in need but that several neighbors would be looking for services if it was a good relationship. Didn't return the call as it sounds like they seek a different commitment than just snow work.

Description of Work: We contacted Chad's for a snow removal quote. Chad called us back immediately and left a message to say we were outside his region, and offered to provide other names of services who could possibly take on our work. He then called back a second time to give us a name. This was above and beyond any expectation and we were truly amazed by his professionalism and courtesy. We had contacted several other organizations who did not have the courtesy to respond, which made his response especially extraordinary, We are sorry we are a little too far away to become his customers! Communication is key to any successful relationship and his communication was amazing.

+ 0 moreThe guy was very helpful. He was very professional, but I wasn’t ready at the time. Chad was the person who came and gave me the estimate. I called him and he came out the next day or after a couple of days. The estimate was around $950. I was looking for basics to be done so that I could decide what to do next. He seemed very professional and very knowledgeable. He was very clear and candid. He described what he was going to do and I really appreciated that. There were no complications with him. I would consider him for another estimate in the future.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Chad’s Landscaping & Design LLC in July for basic landscaping like cutting a few hedges and mulching some of the plants.

Description of Work: I have used Chad’s Landscaping & Design for many years with complete satisfaction. They were highly recommended to me by another one of their satisfied customers. The landscaping company I was using was not always dependable and their work on my yard wasn’t always professional looking. I was looking for a lawn company that was reliable and reasonable and who would do a nice, neat job. Chad’s Landscaping & Design meets all of my expectations and the crew gets right down to business when they arrive, and they do a perfect job. . They do a greatclean up, hedge and bush trimming or whatever service you want done. Chad, the owner is a great guy. He’s a pleasure to work with. I appreciate the fact that he returns calls promptly if I need to call him for anything and he is always willing to accommodate any request I might have I also use Chad’s in the winter for plowing my driveway. I have 4 cars parked face in on one side of my driveway. In order to do thorough job of plowing, everyone in the house needs to clean off their cars and be ready to exit when the plow truck comes. If we do it too early, the cars get covered with snow again. To make it easier for us, the plowman will give us a call about 30 minutes before he is due to arrive at our house. This way everyone has time to clean off their cars and be ready to exit. Then he calls as soon as he has finished the previous job to say he is on his way. Everyone leaves the driveway ,the plow pulls in, and the driveway get completely plowed (and shoveled in smaller areas that need it.) Then the cars pull back into a completely plowed driveway without any mounds or unplowed areas to contend with. We couldn’t be more pleased, or appreciative. All in all, I give Chad’s an A+ as far as good service, good prices and reliability are concerned. I would recommend Chad’s Landscaping to anyone without hesitation.

+ 1 moreAfter joining Angieslist I contacted several landscaping companies for an estimate and to learn more what I should expect from their services. I was going to go with another landscaper until I met Chad of Chad's Landscaping. Chad spent the time I needed to answer all my many questions. He was completely knowledgeable and offered just the right suggestions. I never felt pushed or confused and was especially happy to see his passion for his work and his company. I worked with one of his designers named Ted on a landscape plan for the front of my property in which I needed it to be not only "beautiful" but easy to deal with. They came to do the work on August 11th which was a special gift as it was also my birthday! The crew was great! Friendly, careful, thorough, and efficient. It was also obvious to me that they truly liked working for Chad and working with Ted which made me feel all the more happy with my decision. When all the work was complete I felt a combination of a burden lifted from my shoulders and though a bit corny as if somewhat of a dream had come true. My yard looked amazing! Healthy, colorful and complimenting my home. My friends, family and neighbors have commented on the special design and the great quality of the work. I believe I will be recommending Chad for years to come feeling confident in his company and his word. A last fun bit of info: Chad had overheard it was my birthday and when I paid him for his services he gave me a receipt along with a Birthday card and 2 movies Tickets. In this day and age to have great service and "the extra mile" is so rare that I simply cannot say enough. A+A+A+ all the way!!!!!
Description of Work: My entire property needed help. Pruning, clearing, new beds, tree trimming and removal, transplanting, masonry work on front wall and steps in front, soil conditioning and a whole new landscape in front as the front yard had become overgrown, unmanageable and simply unattractive.
