I've been trying to schedule an appointment since before Christmas and the last time the company cancelled they never called back to reschedule. It didn't go at all.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with our Renewal by Andersen LLC experience. We hired them to fix a leaking window in 2021. The day after installation, the window was leaking again. After two months of asking for someone to come assess the issue, the employee "who no longer works there" said we were sold "the wrong window". After many more months of contacting them and not hearing back, I finally got to the regional manager through LinkedIn, who offered me a new window at the discounted price of $1,800 without acknowledging the sales person's error, saying the leak "was not their fault." Now two years later, I'm still paying for a leaking window, and every time it rains, when I'm putting a bucket on the window sill, I'm reminded of what a disaster the experience was. To add insult to injury, I still get promotional mailings telling me I'm a valued customer. What a horrible experience for us as first time homeowners.

The company promised and in the contract that were made for life and the replacement for anything that happens to the windows for free, it's been more than a year since I called them and they tell me that they don't have the material, but they do have to offer new windows to new customers. The window panes are totally damaged. AND WHEN I CALL AND ASK THEM FOR THE REPLACEMENT THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND TELL ME THERE IS NO AND TO WAIT.

The crew arrived on time as scheduled. They worked quickly, but efficiently and professionally. They finished the job in half the projected time and cleaned up so well that it was difficult to tell that they had been here.

My husband and I had Renewal by Andersen come to our home yesterday morning. We were interested in knowing how much it would cost to replace our windows, but did not plan on moving forward at this time as we recently had a baby and have dropped to a single income household. We wanted a quote so we would have a goal to work toward in the future. We were told we both had to be there, which raised a red flag for me but as it wasn't a problem we went along with it. We were also told to set aside an hour of our day to meet with them. They were here THREE HOURS. The first hour was entirely a sales pitch to convince us they had the best windows available. I do not doubt this and never have, it is why we called them to come out and not someone else. He kept asking if we had questions, and when we kept asking about pricing and financing, we were simply told he would "get to that" No surprise that to replace all of our windows is well out of our price range at this time. So then the haggling started. What if we only do a few now, and a few more later? What is a payment we Can afford? If we sign today, they can give us this extra amount off - but only if we sign Right Now! It was a very high pressure, pushy experience that I found very uncomfortable. At some point I heard that we would have 3 business days to cancel if we changed our minds, so I relaxed a bit. He talked us into 3 new windows, using scare tactics about potential lead paint and fire dangers in the nursery. When he finally left, my husband and I spoke at length about whether replacing 3 windows was a good investment at this time (something we were not given a chance to do while the salesman was here) and decided we need to cancel. My husband called immediately and left a voice mail, which was returned about an hour later. My husband was told what a horrible idea it would be to cancel now and that it would destroy our credit as the information had already been sent to a bank. What happened to the 3 business days we had to cancel? Obviously it is still an option, but I am feeling like we have been backed into a corner. I am very unhappy with my experience with this company. I have no doubt that they make excellent, long-lasting windows, but I cannot shake the slimey feeling of essentially having a car dealer in my home. If they truely make such an superior product, they should not find it necessary to pressure potential customers into a commitment they are not ready to make. It is unfortunate because when we do feel ready to replace our windows (all of them, not just three), I would still like Andersen because I do beleive they have the best quality windows. However, after yesterday's experience I will have a hard time wanting to call them back.

I have a leaking Anderson Window that was built with the house. I called Renewal By Anderson and they gave me the name of one of their contractors. He never called me back. If their replacement windows and doors are anything like their original windows and doors, I don't think I want them. I've already had to replace an Anderson door wall that was built with the house. Luckily, it was under warranty and they would replace it.

It took a day to complete the installation. The crew was awesome. First we did a tour trough the house so they can check up the spaces and everything. In the meantime I was giving the tour to one of the guys, the other 2 were preparing everything. It took them around 6-7 hrs to complete everything and at the end I was very happy with the work done. They clean up everything and we checked all the windows that they worked, how to clean them etc. I will definitively recommend them and use them again in the future.

RENEWAL BY ANDERSON'S Sales and Operations Representative, Mr. H.Betzner, meticulously presented to us the advantages of using the Anderson windows (costs and administration process, quality of materials, installation procedures, all guarantees) and included several checklists sheets where he indicated all the steps as he explained them. He was not shy about admitting that Anderson was "considered expensive" but worth the quality and the advantages offered. However, we were offered four payment options with progressively different discounts ( ranging from 1 to 10 years payment plans) and chose option 4 (half down, final upon finish, 35% off). He was excellent in his presentation: indeed, he was professional, informative, and courteous when it came to our many questions and inquiries. Mr. Betzner provided us with full information (names and telephones) in case we had to contact installers or the Indiana home base operation. One window had to be resized and sent out (it arrived within a week): a call to Ms. Brack in Indiana prompted an immediate response: she was most professional, courteous, and informative. The gentlemen workers who did the installation were superb: personable, diligent, considerate, absolutely hardworking and competent. They worked from sunrise to sunset--and kept us informed along with way, if needed. They did an amazingly complete cleanup job and left us their contact numbers in case we found anything needing fixing. Once all was over and done, a grand amount of time was spent showing us how to open and clean and close the windows (with patience, as we practiced several times to get it right). I must say how wonderful these windows are and how fortunate we were to have such service from all concerned in the process. We still walk around the house and marvel at these windows. By the way, we have already felt the environmental improvement and are sure it will be more than evident this coming winter season.

Renewal by Andersen was the only one that insisted that both my wife and I be present. This was a warning to me to expect a high pressure sales effort. Therefore I cancelled the appointment and ultimately went with Pella. We actually had Andersen in several years ago and it was the same policy then and in fact a high pressure sales effort. Although others have said that they liked their Andersen windows in their house, they never got to the starting line with us because of this policy.

Great looking windows and doors that are easy to clean. The only issue that we had initially was with one large sliding glass door. After we were in contact with Tom Gianotti, the manager of the Branford, Ct store, all issues were taken care of so that we can. Ow easily open and close the slider. Great windows/sliding doors which we highly recommend

They were very professional, but their price was just outrageous. One fellow came, walked around and gave me a quote. He seemed like a nice enough guy who looked at everything and measured everything carefully. But the quote was ridiculously high and he totally understood where I was coming from. They responded in a reasonably good fashion when I called to set the appointment. I certainly would not be dissatisfied with the way they responded. They seemed really eager to come out and do an inspection and a quote.

From start to finish, an exceptional experience with professional, qualified personnel. A quality product, installed by skilled workers. Work was completed on schedule; work site was left immaculate.

They arrived on time as scheduled and they definetly brought their A game. All 3 workers all greeted us as Mr and Mrs. They asked permission to move furniture as well as using the bathroom. They took a short break for lunch and on the last day worked through lunch to complete the job in 2 days instead of the expected 3. At the end of the job, the head worker went through the job done and walked me through the inspection process. He, not I, found a small tear in one of the screens and immediately removed it for repair. The 1 issue I had with it was that it took almost 2 weeks to get the screen back when they promised 1day. The price was also high but after discussing it with my wife, we felt that it Anderson and their reputation is great. Over all I was happy with my descision to go with Renewal by Anderson.

The sales pitch was well rehearsed the demo of the windows was good. While the product appears to be good quality, the quote was high in my opinion. There was pressure to buy now to take advantage of a 'one time' only promo and this was a turn off for me. In the end we chose a different supplier.

They were professional about everything. They cleaned up after themselves.

I called and made an appointment and they called me back to confirm appointment. Their customer service insisted that my husband had to be present during the estimate process and as he was unavailable, they canceled the appointment. I believe I am perfectly able to make an informed decision on my own.

Project went very well. At our request we were visited by a sales represented who provided information regarding window options for replacement of thirty-five year old windows in the home. The information was clearly presented and no pressure to buy was made at all. A range of payment options was available to chose from including financing. Once a decision to buy was made a date for installation was set. A pre order visit was made by a specialist to take and confirm window measurements. On the agreed upon day an installation crew arrived on time and performed the required work as anticipated in the time estimated. Installation went very smoothly. Overall no complaints. The windows are great, easy to work with and a definite major improvement. Andersen windows are top of the line so they are not inexpensive. We chose to go with Andersen, feeling you get what you pay for.

It was excellent. The quality and the work were very neat. I had no problems. I like the windows. It is what they said it would be. I was very satisfied. The staff's demeanor was very good, excellent. They were very helpful.

The sales approach was very high pressure. "If you do not sign before I leave today, you will never get this low a price from us again." Product looked good but the sales approach was awful. We decided to use another company.

They were pleasant people and I can talk to them. They quoted and they cleaned up. If I have a problem I can always call them and someone is always willing to talk to me to fix the problem. The quality and responsiveness was good.

Renewal By Andersen Co. were prompt and the guy was nice. He brought samples of windows and the experience was good.

They did a beautiful job. However, we got the prairie windows with decorative pieces of wood that are supposed to lock in. My complaint is that the pieces that are supposed to lock in together are too short and they fall out of the window on their own. We contacted them several times and nothing has been corrected. They did send someone out to look at it, but he was unable to complete the repair as they needed to order a different type of part. My husband called the salesman where they got into a disagreement and nothing has still been done. The installers who work for the company did a beautiful job. The only concern I have is how the wood pieces continue to pop out.

The working crew was very good and professional. However, I do have a problem with the product. At the bottom of the window where the bottom size comes down and mates with the side of the frame, you could put your hand down there and feel draft coming through. I solved the problem simply by putting foam insulation in the trough beneath the window. They sent me a brochure about three weeks after the installation asking questions about their service. I sent it back to them asking them to contact me in one year as I wanted to see how the windows worked through each season. I never heard back from them.

The work was okay. My husband didn't like that there wasn't enough caulking and insulation. There is actually a draft coming from the window even though they are brand new after the first and second installation. Because of the draft, we chose a different company for the third installation of windows

It turned out excellent. It was a little pricy, but the work and product was great! I think it was a good choice and I am very happy with them.
