It went okay. They did a good job of cleaning the blinds. I was a disappointed because my blinds were bent a little in a couple of places because they were mishandled.

Description of Work: Housecleaning, first visit. Showed up in the afternoon when I was told they would be there first thing in the morning. The business owner did not follow through on statements he made during the walk-through and estimate. Most of the issues involved scheduling and paperwork, not the cleaning. I had to make several calls and send several emails in order to rectify the situation. In fairness to the company, once the problems were understood they were resolved politely and an offer was made to have some areas of the house re-cleaned due to their 100% satisfaction policy. I had, however, already spent so much time repeatedly contacting them, I just wasn't up to continuing with the issue. The cleaning was satisfactory, not exemplary. Some details were left unattended to. I have decided to withhold judgement for now and see how they progress over the next few cleanings. I may change my mind about using this provider in the future if issues continue to arise.

Description of Work: Full house cleaning of 850 sq ft home. The first cleaning I paid for a deep cleaning and it was done well. The second one they missed very basic things, such as dusting the tv and stand, picture frames, desk. It did not feel worth the money.

They cleaned my house, performing all of the vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen etc. and did it fair.They didn't, however, estimate the time well spent and thus I had to pay more. I will not use them again.
Description of Work: Sure, they cleaned my house. It was definitely NOT a "deal" through Angie's list. I told the company that I have 3 children and size/condition of the house. Our house was not "pre-cleaned" before they came, but it certainly was in respectable enough shape to do a cleaning in the time I had opted for and the price offered on Angie's list. Because they needed extra time, I was charge more and the company notified me and called midway through the cleaning. What was I going to do? I paid for the extra time, but will never use them again.

We have been in business for 21 years on the shoreline by having a fair policy when it comes to our rates,they are determined by the time spent in the home cleaning.At Merry Maids,we don't tell you its going to be a certain price,leave early, and keep the money.The price you were charged was based on the time in took to clean your home,you underestimated,as we did, the time it would take to complete the job and you were notified in a timely manner,as best as we could,AND were told this is how we do business before we ever started the work,which,you agreed to.The work was was beyond acceptable,it was professional and complete,Perhaps your standards are too difficult to achieve in the allotted time…but now the price/time issue arrises again.

They cleaned the whole condo, except for the 3 bedrooms. They did a very thorough job. They were also quick and efficient. I have not compared their pricing. I had no problems, and they were on time. I will use them again, because I have a bad back.
