+ -1 moreToo long a story, but in all four renovation projects every time there were snags or problems Jay came to our rescue. Recently when one contractor fell through just before the beginning of our basement remodeling Jay found us another fine workman who took over.
Description of Work: We have used Jay Bright for 4 projects in our home over the past 15 years. In all cases Jay designed the plans and supervised the workmanship. 1.He remodeled redesigned and enlarged our kitchen and first floor bath room. 2. He oversaw and recommended designers for our pocket garden. 3. He drew detailed plans to organize our small garage and supervised the contractor. 4. Most recently he helped us make our cluttered basement into a useful recreation room.

+ -1 moreHis house is in New Haven, but he has an office Branford. He charged me $100 an hour and it took about 25 hours for his service. He is a very conscientious architect and is really engaged in learning your vision. He is very good at communication and good at putting into drawing what you are looking for. He is also very diligent in working with contractors and I had a good experience with him. I found him through a contractor that was on the list. He gave me a lot of options for materials and the different price standards and was good at finding ways to try and keep the cost low.
Description of Work: I have used Jay Bright Architect and he started work last September and he designed a back step porch area for me.
