Description of Work: I purchased a deal of 2 hours of plumbing for $99. I was having an issue with my toilet clogging. I called to schedule an appt and the plumber told me I would need to purchase a new toilet. So after purchasing a new toilet I emailed him per his request to schedule a time ( I did take awhile to purchase the toilet and he did call to say he hasn't forgotten about me which I appreciated ). After I emailed I didn't hear back for a day or two. Once he responded he told me he could have one of his guys come that morning. I liked that the job could get done quickly, but would have liked the guy I hired to come. The toilet was installed in under 2 hours and the job was done. Later I got an email asking how everything went. I also appreciated this follow up by him since he didn't actually install the toilet. So it's a bit difficult to review when he didn't perform the actual job. But I have no complaints the new toilet works.

Description of Work: Replaced outdoor spigot. Provided different options, did a thorough job ensuring his work was done well and noted where there were other issues. He arrived timely, was polite, direct and got right to work. We would use him for other work down the line.

Description of Work: I had 3 minor plumbing issues that I needed addressed; running toilet, dripping shut off valve and I needed the water lines disconnected for a broken dishwasher. | |Adie contacted me quickly after I signed on for their 2 hours of service at a reduced rate. Due to my work schedule, he offered to come by on a Saturday even though they don't normally work on the weekends. | |Adie arrived on time, addressed all 3 issues quickly and even offered to help me move the broken dishwasher out of the house and help me lift it into my truck for disposal. At that point, I didn't have a path cleared to get the dishwasher out of the house so I couldn't take him up on it - but I very much appreciated the offer. | |I would definitely consider contacting them again for future plumbing issues and possibly for other needs as he explained their company provides more than just plumbing services.

Description of Work: He was prompt, professional, and a pleasure to have in our home. Not only did he exude a positive attitude, but was extremely resourceful and apt in getting parts needed to keep us on track in getting our house on the market. His knowledge and willingness to help us tackle household issues from the leak in our bathroom to painting our house were instrumental to helping us achieve our target deadlines. Our children felt comfortable having him in our house as did our pet. Overall, both my husband and I are pleased with all the work he has done and feel confident recommending him in the future to all friends and family that are in need of quality workmanship for a fair value.

Description of Work: Prior to this service, I reviewed him for his handiman services that I purchased on Angie's List and referred him to friends because of his positive/professional qualities. Based on a conversation at that time, I requested his services in remodeling my living-dining room area, the hallway and painting 3 bedrooms, including trim. He successfully removed a large opening from the livingroom into the hallway and created a continuous wall; addressed a number of requests for changes and repairs in addition to the task at hand, and painted the walls with fireplace and crown molding. He was helpful in selecting paint and patient in the process. In addition he made creative recommendations which were utilized. He also painted the hallway and the bedrooms and replaced 5 doors, giving the hallway a more spacious look. Each day he arrived on time and he left the area that he was working in clean and in order. My vocabulary for explaining his attention to detail in small and large repair is limited; however, I think it is important to consider him not only as a handiman - he is capable of much more as a professonal.

Description of Work: Mr. Ashma examined all the plumbing fixtures in our new house and checked drains. One was draining very slowly and took several hours to unclog (he removed several large deep clogs from other pipes. He recommended some inexpensive future fixes to improve flow and avoid future clogs. At one point he had to go rent an additional piece of equipment to deal with the extent of the clog but he did not charge for the rental, which seemed appropriate. The price was very reasonable for 4 hours of plumbing labor.n We also discussed future remodeling possibilities.

Description of Work: All work was completed in a timely and very professional manner. Even though I lost the manufacturer's directions how to perform the installations, Adie was able to complete the tasks using his skills. Excellent job done!!!

Description of Work: In a previous review I described the way Adie had installed cat doors, fixed the door to the utility closet, installed a smoke alarm, and repaired the seal on a toilet. Since then, he installed shelves around the entire perimeter of my bedroom so my cat could have some "vertical" space. I had wanted to do it for years but every time I found shelves designed for the purpose the cost was prohibitive and I assumed the installation would be also. I found very affordable shelves on the Etsy.com website and asked Adie if he could install them. I also had two other larger pieces of wall mountable cat "furniture" and he installed everything in two trips (only because it took me two orders to get all of the shelves I needed.) He came the very day after I contacted him and was able to put them up in record time. He was also patient enough to move some of the shelves he installed the first time to adapt to my cat's tastes (which took a few weeks to figure out). Adie even installed a few shelves for which I had no fixtures and was able to improvise to incorporate them to the setup. He also repaired a small hole in the ceiling caused by a water leak from upstairs, fixed a leaky faucet, and re-attached a curtain rod that had come loose. On one of the days he came I had to be out of the house most of the day and when I returned everything was done. Adie is prompt, reliable, great at problem solving, efficient, can address almost any issue, knows his limits, and is a man of utmost integrity. He is capable of much more than I can undertake at this time but I highly recommend him for any home improvement task and can practically guarantee that his prices will be better than those of the specialists (like plumbers and painters) who many people resort to instead of first seeing if a good handyman could not do the job. My only fear is that as people discover him, he will become less available, but so far that has not been a problem.

Description of Work: Found this handyman after he placed a big deal coupon so thought I would try him out. Had him change out several light fixtures in our new house. He was very responsive to emails and prompt on the day of service. He started right away and continued working non-stop till all of the work was done. He cleaned up his mess and did everything I asked. I would use him again for our next projects.
