Description of Work: Replace leaky faucet, helped with fixing door hinges for a closet, tighting of screws around a door that was loose and putting nails through a special machine to fix a loose board in the bathroom.

 + 4 moreAdie is wonderful. He communicates clearly, is very pleasant and easy to get along with, works hard, and is thorough in what he does. While working on our back deck, particularly, he did more than we would have expected him to do--and all of it well. We will definitely be using him again in the future. He and Jimmy are also creative problem solvers, who work at finding solutions to problems that confront them. Our back deck now looks (and feels) like it's new. Our front porch and door have also been transformed. We were so pleased with Adie's work that we actually paid him more than he had orginally requested. We felt like he and his team had earned it.
Description of Work: Adie and his team did a number of jobs for us over a 2-week period. The most major was replacing a number of rotting boards on our back deck (including some rotted plywood under the siding and some rotted beams under our back door), then powerwashing and staining/painting the entire deck. He and his team also sanded and refinished our front door (after removing an old screen door), sanded and restained our front porch, fixed several electrical outlets indoors that weren't working, repaired a casement window handle that was irreplaceable, repainted a portion of our living room ceiling, and did a couple of other small jobs.

He worked steadily and neatly, especially with having to put several coats of paint on the den ceiling which required a 2nd visit to complete. The first application was put on a month earlier. Because he was so busy he assured me that he would contact me the beginning of May to complete the painting which he did. I plan on hriing Adwan for future projects.
Description of Work: The following projects were done: - painting vaulted ceiling in den- required a 2nd visit - caulking around the bathtub and shower stall - window valance hardware was installed

 + -1 moreHe told me what was wrong said he didn't have the part went to Home Depot and got the part replaced it and then proceeded to show me the package not the receipt nor did he give me the other washers that came in the pack. It's a little thing to some people but it spoke volumes to me.

Description of Work: He installed two doors, fix the hardwood floors, install a garbage disposer and fix and paint my bathroom. Whenever there was an unexpected problem, Adie took the initiative to fix it and did a splendid job. I cannot recommend him enough, by far the best experience with a contractor I have ever had! I will definitely always go to him in the future.

 + 4 moreFrom the first time I met Adie I was happy with his work and his pleasant personality. He is very hard working, tidy, professional and was willing to go the extra mile to make the project work out well. He actually went to the tile store with me and helped select tiles and flooring at no charge. He was willing to work with me on price changes and unexpected problems that arose. Adie was a true pleasure to work with and very honest. He is a wonderful worker--the tiling and flooring look amazing. I couldn't be happier. Best of all when ever I had a small issue or something that needed further work he was right back to fix it with no hassle. I will definitely continue using Adie for my projects.
Description of Work: Adie remodeled my main bathroom for me. He replaced all the walls in the tub surround and retiled. Replaced the flooring, put in the new vanity and repainted. He also installed all fixtures.

 + -1 moreAdie was very accomodating in setting up an appointment when we could be home. He showed up at the agreed upon time. He was very polite and friendly. We had purchased a promotion from Angies List for 3 hours of service. He did a professional job on painting our hallway walls and trim as well as hanging some pictures, installing a screen and fixing a blind that kept falling out of its bracket. He worked very quickly and did a great job. We have scheduled him to come back to do some more interior painting as well as painting our garage door and sanding and putting rustoleum on our hatchway to the basement. His prices are very reasonable. We would highly recommend anyone to use Adie for his handyman and painting services.
Description of Work: Pefrormed interior painting, installed a screen, fixed a blind that kept falling to the ground and hung some pictures.

I asked him to rewire an electric dryer with a longer cord (that I purchased at Amazon) so it would reach the outlet. He did that and moved the old dryer out of the way and put the new one one in place.

Description of Work: My list of jobs for Mr. Adwan Ashma of East Bay for Handyman included removing an old chandelier and installing a new one, same for a medicine cabinet, connecting a new gas stove and installing a dimmer. In the meantime a couple of small things came up that involved completing assembly of a piece of furniture and moving a heavy bookcase. Mr. Ashma handled everything on the list. He was efficient, knowledgeable, pleasant and neat. He gave me good information about the state of the wiring in my house and sent me follow up information about the types of projects his company does.

He indicated to me that a special part will be needed on the overflow drain to stop damage now that the tray is gone. He said he would get the part if I wanted.

Description of Work: I purchased three hours of service based on the special offered to Angie's subscribers. Aide reached out to me and asked me what I needed done. I had a list: install an under counter radio, install new starter on outdoor grill, fix motion light on outside of house...and we scheduled the service. He arrived on time and completed each of the fixes I had on my list. I am starting a new list and will contact again to schedule some more time. Aide was pleasant and even went to the local hardware store for a part we needed.

Adie arrived early, we described what we needed done and showed him around the house. He suggested several other improvements for the home. I appreciated his comments and advice. He worked dilligently, efficiently and neatly. Both jobs came out great and he couldn't have been nicer.
Description of Work: Adie installed ~4in baseboard trim in our bathroom. I also asked him to cut a lengths of 1/4in quarter round for retaining decorative metal inserts for two of my lower kitchen doors.

I was available and in and out of the rooms, he would check with me before he started to ensure that he was performing the task in the manner that I preferred and then asked me to check it again afterward and stated that if he needed to change it in any way, he would. He was creative in the work that he did in that he saved me money by finding ways to fix vs/replace doors/cabinets/drawers. He is a charming & interesting guy (always nice if you can have a stimulating conversation as part of the deal). I am delighted with his work and am already making up a list of more work for him.
