Adie was great - we kept adding to the work and changing the schedule because of issues with cabinets, electricians, etc. He accommodated everything we threw at him, including working Saturdays to get things done. I was away for much of the time he was there working and he would send pictures and did a great job figuring out what I wanted even when I wasn't there to discuss it.

Unfortunately, we emailed back and forth a few times and our schedules didn't match up. So unfortunately, I never used this service.

. Adie created a beautiful bathroom in a very challenging space. He set a new tub in a space that was very difficult to get it to fit He is very intelligent and resourceful and very clear in presenting options to achieve what we needed, given the contraints of the old house. he recommended good and modestly priced fixtures. He did a simply beautiful job on the tile.

East Bay refreshed the bathroom of my rental unit. Work included cleaning out all stain and mold growth, chalked as needed, clean tiles and floors, and replaced some hardware, like light fixture, etc.. This was a very good job. Adie was able to clean up the heavily stained bath tub and I avoided having to reglaze the bathtub and that saved me a few hundred bucks and a lot of hassle (I actually had the reglaze contractor on standby and had to cancel that due to the fact that Adie did his magic on the bathtub). Then he painted the whole house interior including the ceiling and conducted minor repair. When one of the cabinet door did not close properly, I made some suggestion on a low cost repair and Adie agreed and followed through on the repair until all were completed. The estimate was sound (no cost growth) and the promised schedule was followed. This is a good, responsible and professional contractor and I highly recommend them to whoever in need of home improvement project. A very satisfied customer.

The worked was performed efficiently. He moved the toilet, fixed the gasket, and put it all back together.

Adie was able to find time to come to my home on the holiday and quickly solve the problem. The problem was more than what I found and showed him. He presented me with several options and tried to fix the problem with a saving way. He priced very fairly. I will definitely be hiring him to do more work.

Adie was extremely nice, responsive and professional. He picked up my special order fence panel from Home Depot, installed it and removed all of the remnants of the previous fence panel. I would use his services in the future and would highly recommend him as well.

Adie is amazing. In about an hour he stopped seven, SEVEN, leaks, several of which were pouring onto my basement stairs. He may think it was a simple fix, but to me it was a HUGE relief!!! This man is a genie, and I will positively use his services again!!! VERY low price for a TON of peace of mind!

Began well. He came by to look at window that needed repair, gave a general estimate, told me that he would be in touch when the window was ready for installaiotn. Two days later he contacted me to say the window had been ordered and would be ready for installation in 2 weeks. Three weeks passed and he did not contact, I contacted him again and he said that he hadn't heard from window supplier. A week later he texted to say window had arrived. Then he disappeared. A month later I contacted him to ask what the plan was, he informed me it was too cold to install the window, 3 months pass, I contact again to ask if we can install window but he cut off communication. Still looking for someone to install the window, seems our project wasn't worth his time.

Mr. Adhma was the only contractor after consulting/hiring several handymen and plumbers over the span of several years trying to figure out what was causing a leak from the upstairs to the basement. I was very impressed with how quickly he was able to find time to meet with me to show him the issue. Mr. Adhma showed up on time and was extremely polite and professional. What impressed me the most was that he always presented me with several options and explained the pros and cons of each. The quality of his work was very impressive and most importantly, he priced very fairly. I will definitely be hiring him to do more work at the Cheshire location and at my madison location.

As I have come to expect, Adie was on time, on budget, did an excellent job and left the area following the job cleaner than he found it.

Adie came over on a Saturday, right on time and in spite of the weather. He undid previous work poorly done by another contractor, and focused on making it right. He took his time, explained everything he was doing, and really put in the effort to get it done right. Even for a small job, I really appreciated his attention to detail, and will be calling him back for any future work.

We had a clog in our pipe and could not use anything in our town house except the toilets. Worse it was Friday night of a three day weekend and we did not know who to call. We went to Angie's List and found East Bay Handyman & Home Renovation. We left a message on the phone and the next morning we had arranged for Adie Ashma to come to our place at 2:00pm. Adie showed up at 2:03pm, methodically figured out the cause of our problem and a solution. He discovered that trap on a cast iron four inch pipe he needed to open was stuck in place (not a common problem). It probably had never been touched for forty-five years. Adie was persistent and victorious - he got the trap opened and fixed the problem! He is a competent and friendly plumber. And his bill was quite reasonable. The only hesitancy we have in recommending him is that we want him always available for us on a moment's notice.

The plumber (and the owner of the company, I believe) took at look at the leak and determined that replacing the entire pipe would be a significant amount of work. He then suggested that we first try a much simpler option, which was to patch the (relatively minor) leak using a silicon patch. It worked, and this saved considerable money and overall effort and disruption. I definitely appreciated his straightforward and honest approach to the problem in trying a simple solution rather than telling me that an expensive fix was required. Definitely recommended.

The owner did an excellent job for the price. We purchased the tile ourselves (with reimbursement for cost as provided in the offer) and had the owner install them. The end result is just what we had hoped for, a nice, neatly tiled bathroom floor.

He was very positive minded, cordial, communicative, and he was very good. If I need something, I just call him first. He is very good, so I tend to stop shopping around.

Nothing, did not return calls. Don't waste your time.

Adie was on time..saw that this was a small problem...and fixed it quickly . He was courteous and professional and the price was fair . A straight A in my book.

This company is excellent! Adie was extremely easy to contact and was able to schedule my service for the same day! He came on time and was well-prepared, with proper tools and equipment. He was friendly and polite, and was very quickly able to plan how to hang a ridiculously heavy caribou head on my crappy walls. He was very quick and efficient, and the job was completed to my utmost satisfaction. Would recommend to anyone!!!!!

Adie was the first handyman to respond to me and came within one week. He was very professional and gave me advice on other items I want repaired at the house. He and his colleague removed 8 storm windows (that were painted over/stuck on) and replaced them with 8 screens. I would definitely hire them again.

I needed the work done and when he finally contacted me and for the plumbing job he said that he would follow up on Friday or Monday and didn’t for either. I needed it done immediately and paid someone else to come out and do the job.
