Description of Work: They took a damaged tree down last year, that I initially just wanted trimmed but he recommended removable (good move) and trimmed some others, also took one down for my neighbor as well.

His crews were nice, prompt, thorough, and clean up nicely afterward. I will definitely use them again if I ever need tree services again. Thank you.cee
Description of Work: Hans cam with his crews of four people. They came with their equipments, and proceed to trim about thirty limbs of my Pine tree in my back yard. They took the time to do it carefully and nicely. They cleaned up the area afterward very good.

He said he'd come out and do it, but he'd have to charge me more for it. He then said that if I'd called last week he was right near my house. I guess I should've called last week.

 + -1 moreSomeone from Olsen Tree Experts Company came to do the estimate on a Friday. He told me that he would get back to me with the quote on that Monday. However he took about two weeks to get back to me. Their price was reasonable but it was a long wait. They wanted to charge me $700 for taking one tree down and cleaning it up. The person who showed up was nice but he took two weeks to get back to me. He was very clean and very professional. He told me he was too busy. I thought that he should have either kept me informed or at least answered my calls. I emailed them twice but there was no response. I would not use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I contacted Olsen Tree Experts Company for a quote about four months ago. I wanted them to remove a tree.

 + -1 moreThe crew of 4 men arrived at the appointed time. They discussed wth us what work was to be done and where they would drive the trucks over our lawns for the least amount of damange. They drove one large truck to the location for the tree cutting and clean-up. They analyzed the situation once the trucks were in place and consulted with us as they went along. They were efficient with all of the resources. They ground up the stumps from the tree in the front of the house so we could re-landscape as needed. Once they were done the place was all cleaned up. The drive way had branches before they came and after they left there was no evidence of any damage or any branches anywhere on our lawn or driveway. They did an excellent job in bringing the trees down, trimming and clean-up was exceptional.
Description of Work: Cleaned up storm damaged trees. Cutting down 3 large and 2 small trees. Trimmed trees around the house and cleaned up everything. Cleaned gutters at the top of our house which is 3 floor from the back. Leaving the place in better shape than when they arrived. Exceptional work!

Description of Work: Called for an estimate and we scheduled a date and time. He said that I didn't need to be home. I gave him a description of the trees we wanted to have trimmed. The agreed morning came. He called to say that he wouldn't be able to come out until the afternoon. Then, not a word. Thinking we might get a written estimate in the mail, I let nearly a week go by before I called. He claimed that he had been at our house, that I was home at the time, and that he couldn't get me to answer the door because I was vacuuming. He also said that he needed me to be there to explain exactly what I wanted to have done to the trees. I was furious. First, you're lying, because a) I was at work both times you said you'd be at my house, and b) I hadn't operated a vacuum in the time frame we were talking about. Second, you told me I didn't need me to be home. And third, it shouldn't be like pulling teeth to get you to communicate with me. You DO want business, right? You won't get it from me.

Cleanup was outstanding and the yard looked much better than before the work. I was so impressed, I asked him to come back and remove some more trees this summer. He get's my highest recommendation. You will be very pleased !!
Description of Work: Removed 2 large trees and an overgrown bush, ground the stumps and leveled the ground.

Hans is quite knowledgeable, and shared his expertise in a way that would help meet my goals without killing our trees! Shortly after he arrived with a crew of 4 people to do the work. They did an excellent job - exactly what we were looking for, and were incredibly conscientious in what they did - being careful to clean up everything before they left. We couldn't be happier, and would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Olsen Tree performed trimming services for us on 3 different trees on our property. Each required fairly extensive trimming and clean-up to remove dead branches and open up the trees to allow more light in.

 + -1 moreWe had a huge thunderstorm with a very powerful downdraft. The wind damaged 5 very large trees. 1 tree could be saved, 4 others had to go. I called Olsen because of their rating on Angies List. They came out about 2 hours later and started working. They finished the job 2 days later(it was a very big job). It was a great experience. They are real pros. Constantly in motion.
Description of Work: 3 large trees and 1 huge tree removed after storm damage. Also, limb trimming on several other trees.

I wasn't here when the work was being done but upon arriving home I found the job completed as specified with no surprises. It was a 100+ degree heat index day making the work ethic of the people who did the work even more impressive.
Description of Work: Took down 2 Norway Spruce trees, trimmed 3 maples and also cabled 1 of the maples.
