Absolutely not. I hired Valley in March 2017 to install a walk way and redo the front steps. JT told me the job would take a day and half tops. They showed up in June and completed the job in September. My lawn looks horrible. Less than 6 months after finishing the project the grout between the stone was coming out. It took the entire summer of 2018 to repair the grout. While repairing the steps they chipped the slate and made a mess. Again, they have promised to repair . Have not seen them yet. This is what my steps look like today . Horrible .

Finally built minus the awning after 9 months and taking company to small claims court. Communications skills are horrible and would not show up when promised.

I called them two weeks ago and left a message. Either they don't want more business or they are too busy to spend 30 seconds telling me they cant take the job, Either way, I would like to thank them for helping me realize this is not the kind of company I will deal with.

They were a pleasure to deal with, extremely responsive and did a fantastic job from planning the project to finishing the job. They showed up on time and everything was done on schedule as promised. Furthermore, everything was done with the utmost professionalism and the quality of work was top notch. I highly recommend their company and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

WOW!! After calling 3 other company's (Who did not show), I call Valley. JT came out when he said he was going to and did what he said he was going to do. At every stage of the project making sure I was happy with the project and was there any thing else he and his crew could do better.

Laid down different layers of soil, fertilize, seeded and gave instructions on how the maintain. What else can you ask for!! And the kids get to see a bobcat in the back yard working. Nice job JT and Paul!! Can't wait to play ball in my new back yard

For the most part the work they did when they showed up was great, however, the services were never performed when agreed. For my 2015 and 2016 fall clearn up I had to call JT to remind him of the job and inquire when his team would be performing the work. In 2015, he was very apologetic and the team came out immediately. In 2016 however, once JT determined that he was selling the lawn maintenance side of his business he became extremely unprofessional. First, he was rude when I called to inquire about the work, then he committed to get back to me, which he never did. In the end he committed to refund me the fall cleanup amount and my overpayment by 12/15/16 since the work was not performed, however to date he has not provided the $500 overpayment and will not answer or return any of my calls inquiring about the status. I always paid him on time, based on our agreed upon payment schedule, unfortunately he is not an ethical enough business man to refund money for work not performed. I will be filing a better business bureau complaint shortly because he has completely unprofessional and unacceptable business practices. Over the last month or so I have called at least 4 times with no acknowledgment or return call. I guess with him when it's good, it's good, and when it's not, it's not. I would never use or recommend this company and truly hope others take this review into consideration before engaging this company. Horrible. They set up a date and canceled at last minute. Set up another date and never showed. They have not responded to my phone calls or emails. Basically a rip off ... Took my money and got nothing. Plus in the meantime I could have found an honest company.

Company never did work. Company did not respond to emails or phone calls to schedule the work. Don't use.

The owner, JT, runs a solid professional business. From the beginning, his estimate was detailed, price was fair and he was responsive to our communications. He started the project when promised. He was very communicative about the job schedule during his industries peak time of year, which made us feel like he was engaged in our project, so we appreciated that. JT and his crew are VERY hard working. They did an excellent job prepping the patio base and JT has a skillfull eye for laying pavers. He made sure things looked good and if he didn't like it he did it over. Our site was not the easiest to work with due to grade and the 'homeowners' preferences :-), but Valley handled it well. They gave the project a clean finished look by raking and seeding any upturned lawn. Ultimately JT and the Valley crew busted their butts and they were friendly and courteous. We are beyond pleased with our new outdoor space and would hire them again for sure!

The price included spreading of the mulch, and I initially wanted to coordinate additional mulch and services with the company. I asked to meet with JT Youmans, but after sending six e-mails over the span of the month following our purchase, his crew arrived with the initially-purchased mulch to my home while I was at work. That was the first call I ever received from the company, and I was not prepared to coordinate the spreading of the mulch over the phone, because we have a very large mulch area across several regions of our multi-acre property. I couldn't leave work, so I asked that they just dump the mulch on my asphalt driveway, and I would install it myself, some other time. JT was polite in his communications, though he appeared to reply to e-mails only once a day, between 9PM and 6AM, according to my records. One exception to that was when he had to cancel our scheduled 8AM walkthrough at my home, by e-mailing me only 28 minutes prior. I had moved my work appointments around, to accommodate this appointment, so I was disappointed that nothing came of it. JT said that one of his workers had called out unexpectedly. It happens. The other time JT responded outside 9PM and 6AM, was when I wrote to confirm I directed his crew to drop the mulch and have nothing more to do with me. He responded that afternoon, explaining "My company and I are going through extreme growing pains and issues - I’m not able to be everywhere I’m needed and I don’t have the staff to keep up with the demand. I had instructed my crew to measure the beds today since I was not able to make it out to do so." His crew did not mention measuring my beds, when I talked with them on the phone. JT said he would credit back (to my wife's credit card) the difference, for not having to install the mulch. I haven't checked, but I trust he will make good on that. The overall experience compelled me to not use any landscaper service, as it seems to be too much to coordinate. I hitched up my utility trailer, bought another three yards from Walmart, and am taking care of the rest by myself.

A couple of my neighbors used Valley Property and were very pleased. I met with JT to discuss landscaping in my yard. He seemed very personable and professional and left my house promising a quote in a few days. I never heard from him again. I left 2 voice mails and a text over a 2 week time period and was never responded to.

The crew was very professional and hard-working; they did the job well and quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They even continued to work during a slight rain storm. They had some good suggestions on how best to accomplish the pruning. The crew was late to arrive due to a scheduling mishap but they ended up coming at the end of their day. The owner J.T. was very apologetic and actually took the debris with them as an added bonus for coming late and not keeping the appointment. Based on this past experience, we are pursuing doing more landscaping work with Valley Property Services in the near future!

As described above, excellent job completed.

They were later than expects, but that was due to a situation I. The office. The owner called me and let me know what was going on and gave me a revised time. When the men arrived we reviewed what was to be done. They were very polite, asking if they could pull their truck and trailer into my driveway. They got right to work with removing the bushes, which did give them some issues being removed. After they were finished they cleaned up the area, raked the exposed dirt - there was no follow up needed by me to ensure this happened. This was a very positive experience, I will definitely use them again and recommend to others.

Workers arrived on time and were pleasant and professional.

This was a very professional crew. The owner introduced himself and asked how I wanted things done. Then the five man crew went to work. They did a beautiful job. They were very polite but got the job done quickly. When they left, everything was clean and looked good. This company is out of Bloomfield so they came quite a distance. I had purchased their services through a "deal" on Angie's list. They are also a certified installer of pavers and you can see more of their work on their Facebook page. I would definitely recommend them.

Valley Property did an amazing job mulching around our home. I can't believe two men were able to do what they did so quickly and efficiently. It looks beautiful. They showed up a few minutes ahead of schedule and left the driveway, walkways spotless. We highly recommend.

Will use they again for more work this year. Came on days scheduled, work was performed as agreed and they were careful of my landscaping and cleaned up before they left. Overall very professional.

JT was awesome in completing my project, working within my budget, and ensuring it was done properly. I will definitely use them again for my upcoming projects!

Did a very complete and neat job. Better results than other who did it in past years. They also mulched (50 Yds.) my beds earlier in the year and did a nice job as well.

Removed crushed stone from lawn area, reused to avoid hauling and tipping fees and installed new lawn. Highly recommended.
