Excellent work. Was refreshing to work with a contractor who did the simple things such as showing up when they said they would, completing work as specified, completing in a timely fashion and communicating all along. AJ was great to work with and originally came out for drainage work and tying our sump pump discharge into buried PVC pipe to drain in the backyard away from the house. We were also in process of running a gas line to the house and when asked if they'd be interested in excavating the trench, which was no small task at ~450 ft along driveway and several trees/stumps/rocks, AJ was more than willing to take on the job. AJ coordinated with the gas company and dug the trench per their specifications and backfilled with sand all within a couple of days. Once the gas line was installed, AJ and his team completed the drainage work which consisted of tying in sump pump discharge, three gutter downspouts and a yard drainage box to pick up excess surface water at a low spot near driveway. The discharge was run approximately 100 ft to the rear of our yard and a pop up emitter was installed to keep all water away from the house. All excavation was backfilled and top soil added and graded with seed and straw laid. Grass seed began coming up within a week and has filled in nicely. Throughout the process AJ kept in contact with what was going on and what they would be doing next. The work was completed faster than we anticipated and the crew kept the site clean each day when they were done. AJ went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the work and made sure the job was completed to satisfaction including following up with me to make sure we were happy after the job was complete and he had already been paid. The crew was great, worked hard and put in a full work day and then some everyday. The were several challenges with this job including a tight work space with many trees, roots and rocks. The crew took great care to make minimal disturbance to surrounding trees, shrubs, etc. We were very happy with AJ and crew and would happily use them in the future especially considering the reasonable price. We even had the neighbors comment on the quality of the work done and how fast the work was completed.

The project went very well and moved much quicker than I expected. By day two, the entire pool had been demolished. The whole project was finished in under five days. They were great about being careful and taking their time to squeeze the large machines through a narrow passage between my house and my neighbor's home. No easy feat. Their work crew were great to work with and were very professional and courteous. Additionally, the cost was very reasonable. I think we only received one quote that was marginally less expensive, but they would not have completed the same amount of work. We solicited five quotes and some were upwards of $15k! Unbelievable. Anyhow, AJ and his team were great and we love the final product. I would not hesitate to recommend them for similar work to friends and neighbors.

We were wonderfully surprised as how well the drainage worked. Our walkway is clear of any debris. There is no water collecting in our lower lawn. It was a job which was extremely well done. We were very happy with the result and would consider AJ for any drainage job in the future. He also helped us connect with a gutter company so he could tie in the drainage pipes and the gutters. Overall, we were very satisfied customers.

Anthony and his team were great. We started the project in late March and early April, when they came in, cut up and removed an old concrete deck, as well as filled in a defunct 40-year old concrete in-ground pool. That was a beast of a job, as they had to pump out the pool and jackhammer the sides down well below grade. The team re-leveled the back yard, installed drainage, and removed a lot of overgrown shrubs, bushes, and small trees. They backfilled the whole pool and then let that fill settle for about a month - this was super important, as we didn't want it settling with the new topsoil and getting sinkholes. Anthony and his team were great with scheduling, and worked around us also installing a new fence for the backyard. In late May that was done, and he and the team came back for the topsoil delivery, final leveling, and seeding. They finished that up in about a day, and a week later with careful watering, we have grass growing. We probably tripled the size of the back yard by removing the pool. Anthony and his team were friendly, professional, and went the extra mile to make sure things were done right. He was easy to get a hold of, and responsive via phone, text, and email. I would highly recommend them for a project of this size and scope, and would use them again for future projects.

We contracted with M&M because the land-layout caused water to invade our basement in times of rain. AJ came and gave us an estimate. We had 2 other estimates ?but AJ?s plan sounded much better thought-out than the others who seemed to have a limited scope of the situation. AJ proposed to lay perforated pipe along the house to channel the water down the slope and away from the house. He offered to put a channel drain in front of the basement door, and tie in all downspouts into underground pipes to avoid erosion and flooding in those areas. Also included was a drain box on the garage side with an outflow so as not to have standing water exposed. This had always been a wet spot that accumulated about a 4 inch depth of water in a good rainstorm. Due to our personal commitments we had to postpone the start, and then of course AJ had other engagements, but we finally hit on a date, and AJ came with 3 other fellows to begin work. We had to take a week off again because of personal commitments, but AJ and troop came back when we returned and finished the job. They graded the areas and seeded them and put down straw to make sure the seeds didn?t float away. The rain we've had so far hasn?t put a dent into the new system so we have high hopes AJ?s endeavor has been the cure-all. Will post an update ? probably by fall. AJ and his crew are very friendly, amiable, and very hard workers. They clean up after themselves and are very obliging. Great to work with!

Went very well. Very happy with the results. Both AJ and his partner were friendly, helpful, professional and responsive to questions as were the men who worked on the job. The work was repeatedly delayed due to rain which we fully understood (and they repeatedly said they appreciated that we understood). Hard to run heavy equipment and build a wall in the rain due to the yard turning into a mud pond and I am sure that ours was not the only job that was delayed. Despite that, we had a deadline we needed to keep and they met it with time to spare. There were also careful to dig up and set aside plants which we were able to replant elsewhere (and they are thriving). Promised to come back and reseed any bare spots later. I have full confidence they will. Original quote was $10k for an 8x8 PT wall. However they were unable to find 8x8 at the local distributors. Suggested using 6x6 and, without my having to say anything, reduced the price by $700. Furthermore, I offered to pay the full price anyway since they did extra work but they said it was not necessary. Now that is amazing! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Called them during the week and had a very good initial discussion. Anthony told me that he would contact me on the Sunday or Monday following our phone call to work out a schedule for the initial visit. I never got a call. Tried three more times to contact him during the two folliwing weeks and left voice messages every time, mentioning my name, telephone number and address. Never received a reply.

M&M Construction was an excellent choice for mitigating drainage issues in our back and side yards. AJ was responsive from the 1st call through completion of the job. We were impressed with his knowledge of our issues and his confidence in the solution his company could offer. We requested and were provided references in our area. We met three satisfied HO's and saw first-hand how the drainage worked on their property and how the grass grew back in. He came in at the agreed upon price for all. Initial estimate was delivered as promised after his 1st visit. Further discussions, which added to the scope of the job, were included in writing prior to the start. During the work, any requests from HO were promptly addressed by AJ's team. His crew, comprised of family and competent friends, work extremely well together. AJ was communicative with his expectations for each day and was on-the-job daily. The work was weather-dependent so we ran into some delays. He does juggle his logistics to maximize his productivity over simultaneous jobs. While tricky, he managed to maintain momentum on our job. The crew cleaned up after themselves, were courteous and impressive with each segment of the work. Other components included replacing lattice under the 3 season porch and building a custom fence/gate for our walkway. These were done to our satisfaction as well. After completion, we had heavy rain, and were able to see first-hand that this was money well-spent. We look forward to watching our grass grow!

From start to finsih AJ amd M&M Construction were great. On the initial consultation AJ actually came out on a Sunday due to availability the following week. The work was conducted in one day and was done exactly as quoted. We are very happy with the grading of our yard and their quality service. Very Well done and will not hesitate to call for any additional landscaping we need.

I had a 100 ft underground drainage line that failed and needed to be replaced because it was just draining into my backyard. AJ was extremely responsive. He had the job done and the lawn re-seeded within a week of coming the view the job. He quoted tying in all my roof gutters into the drainage line, which i will have them do in the future. I was very satisfied with the work and AJ gave me a lot of confidence that the job was done right.

From start to finish, AJ and his crew were fantastic to work with. He arrived to look at the job and provide a quote on time (and on a Sunday!), followed up with us promptly when we had questions, arrived on time with his crew every day that they were working the job and cleaned up the job site each day as well. When my husband mentioned that we were going to have some stumps pulled out of the back yard, AJ did that while he had his excavator on site, saving us from having to find someone else to help us with that project as well. We would highly recommend M&M Construction/Drainage Pros if you need this type of work done. I've already provided business cards to co-workers looking for drainage work.

We had water packing up into the house and looked on Angie's list for a contractor. I called M & M drainage and they were out there immediately, it probably helped I was frantic. They snaked the drain and the clog was fixed. I would highly recommended them again.

We called and spoke with AJ, who was very friendly. He sent an employee over to snake our line the next day... they had our system backup and working and we haven't had a problem since...if we do have to get our line replace we will definitely call Drainage Pros to complete the job.

We've had our sewer lateral cleaned out several times over the past three years from a different company and they recommended that we replace the whole line. Drainage Pros was referred to us by a family friend who had a pleasant experience with the company. We contacted them and they were prompt and on time for our appointment. Their quote was reasonable yet competitive but we felt comfortable with the knowledge they possessed. The project was completed in a timely fashion and the crew was extremely friendly and hard working. We would definitely do business with Drainage Pros again.

Gave me some good suggestions and a proposal. Price seemed a little high, but he was professional, seemed knowledgeable and if I decide to have the work done I will give him a call.

AJ and his crew transformed the area in front of my home by grading and installing pavers so that cars can be parked off of the street. They did a wonderful job. They provided a great service at an excellent price. They were professional and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recomend them!

-AJ was very knowledgeable and professional in ALL aspects of the project. He communicated with us constantly while trying to finish up his other (larger) projects and schedule ours--before the weather changed. We were impressed with his attention to detail. The worksite was left very neat and clean. Both AJ and his crew were very friendly and pleasant to work with. -The project was done and completed on December 8, 2013 - just before the first snowfall and heavy rain! Neighboring water run-off and ice problems were eliminated. -AJ returned on December 28, 2013 to fill in the gap (from the trench) where the driveway meets the sidewalk with cold patch. He indicated that he would return in the Spring to put down soil and seed the areas where the trenches were dug. -Would highly recommend this company to anyone having drainage problems.

AJ and his team were great. He was responsive over email, which is important to me because we're dealing with a lot of contractors and phone calls are difficult to track. They did a great job, despite the cold weather. When it got really cold and the job started dragging out (the concrete wouldn't set) they kept coming back until it was done. Also when it rained and we noticed that the new work had areas where the water would pool, they came back and fixed it. I'm sure this job took a lot longer than they expected, but they saw it through to the end.

He was the only one who came that suggested the same plan as our home inspector and a relative who had worked in drainage and excavation. Some plans from others were more expensive and addressed only one window or would have routed the water in an odd direction. We haven't had any water problems since. It was also cold and late season and I thought the grass he seeded wouldn't have a chance before winter. I was strong and quick and grew in a shady area. everything was left very neat and exactly like he said. He was prompt and did the job when he said.

We started working with them, but it turned out our pipes were not where a different company thought they were so we may work with this company in the future. They were very nice and professional, but we did not actually have them do a whole job. They were perfectly good.

AJ responded to our call for an estimate within a couple of days. On the following Saturday, he came and after surveying our property gave his suggestions for better drainage. We quickly received an email with the proposal of the work to be done . The work was done in 2 days according to the contract within a week of signing. While working, care was taken not to do any damage to existing lawn or gardens and all areas were left in good order. The crew was pleasant and worked efficiently. We are very pleased with the results.

My experience with them was outstanding, but the service was expensive.

Excellent experience from start to finish. AJ was very professional and especially knowledgeable about drainage issues. He thoroughly explained the rationale for his recommendations, was very good about communicating and keeping me in the loop. He and the M&M crew were very timely and did a great job, and their price was very competitive. I'd highly recommend M&M.

AJ did an excellent job. I finally have a dry basement. He diagnosed the problem -- why I was getting small amounts of rain water in the basement -- and came up with a practical solution -- keeping the rain away from the house foundation (now also waterproofed). No jackhammering of my basement floor or tearing out of the basement walls was needed! My sump pumps (I have 2) actually don't run at all now. AJ is hard-working, responsible, easy to communicate with, and professional. In addition to the drainage work, he and his crew did some much-needed landscaping work for me, removing some small trees and shrubs, grading, and putting down mulch. In all, three days' worth of work for a very reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone who has wet basement problems!!

AJ and his crew were very extremely knowledgeable and professional. He gave us honest advice regarding our issue and offered a cost-effective solution to resolve the problem. Most importantly, he did not damage our yard in any way. He did such a clean job, you can't even tell he was here! I would HIGHLY recommend AJ and his crew to anyone who has drainage or other construction needs.
