I called M & M for some drainage issues I had in my yard. AJ was out promptly to take a look. He took a great deal of time to explain what he saw and the options I had. He was very patient and detailed in his explanation and took the time to speak with my family members as well. Drainage pipes and yard drains were installed in my yard and the gutters were tied in to the drainage. My lawn had to be dug up in areas and re-seeded after the job was completed. They also pulled out some old shrubs, mulched and moved some plants for me. AJ once again took the time to thoroughly explain the job they had done. M&M did not disappoint. We?ve had a few very heavy downpours since the drains in my yard were installed. The drains are working and the ponding is gone. The grass is growing in nicely. AJ was professional, reliable and experienced and knowledgeable. I had received two other quotes and M&M provided the best price and service. All of the work was 100% guaranteed. I am very happy with the work that A.J. Maulucci and M&M Construction did. I would use them again without question.

Anthony provided a a solution to my drainage problem I did not think of, they executed as expected taking care to minimize damage to the lawn even though large equipment was used. Job was done quickly and site left clean.

AJ did the work on less than 24 hrs notice to satisfy my constraints with my other contractors so they could complete thier work on schedule. He completed a previously scheduled job and came from that site to mine to perform the work at the end of the day. He was thorough, thoughtful of the best way to complete the work, demonstrated great comfort and ability with his equipment, and did a great job of communicating expectations throughout the process. He provided the initial quote after viewing pictures and was able to complete the work while coming under the original quote. In addition, he was very professional and easy to speak with. I will be using his company again to perform additional work that I need done. I cannot imagine using another company if his is available to do the work I need.

He was knowledgeable about the project and he gave us a quote on how much mulching we would need to do, how much shrubs we would need to cut back. He also gave us ideas on things that we can do to our property.

AJ comes across as knowledgeable, but DO NOT HIRE HIM. After you pay him when the job is finished, he doesn't come back to do whatever repairs are necessary. He installed some Belgian block on my driveway, but he subbed this out to a relative, who did a terrible job. There are large sections of my Belgian block that are cracked and can be moved with the slightest touch of your foot. I have called AJ for three (3) months and he continues to say "I'll be there next week; call to remind me." Well I continue to call and he never returns the call, despite leaving on his voice mail that calls will be returned within 24 hours. I paid him over $5000 in full last fall and he was supposed to come back this Spring and install some dirt and grass seed along the driveway, and he never showed. When the Belgian block started to crack, he never returned my calls and blamed the cracking on winter weather, not the shoddy work of his inept relative, a young man who is not a mason. In addition, I needed a driveway and AJ subbed that out to a driveway contractor who did a terrible job. The driveway contractor, who swore at me, came back to fix his shoddy work, and made it worse. He left deep groove marks in the pavement. Do not hire this firm. They are sleazy and come off as your friend, but when you need them to come back, they never show. DO NOT HIRE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE..

My wife and I found the company, represented by, AJ Malucci, to be easy to deal with, and very professional. Once the plans were finalized, they began work on time and were willing to work with us as we continually changed our minds on things during the process. I found the prices to be very competitive, and all work was done as agreed upon. I would absolutely use them again, and definitely recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

The job came out great. They worked very hard to dig out that old cement block and with a little encouragement they did it. Doors came out great and they were the best price out of all the quotes. I would highly reccomend them for any exchavating/draining jobs or anything else. They are a pretty handy crew. I was highly impressed with John's work who installed the doors. They came out better then expected.

We were experiencing an excessive amount of surface water throughout our yard, it has been a problem for use every spring. This has caused water problems in our basement, and the yard has been so saturated we do not get to enjoy our yard till mid June. We called AJ with M&M Construction and Landscaping to a**** our water problem and give us ideas to solve the problems. He was very prompt and professional. He offered us two solutions to fix the problem and broke them both down within our price range. The price was very competitive with other companies we had a**** the issues, but we went with M&M based on reviews and price. They started and finish the project in a timely manner, and installed several yard drains while adjusting our yard grade/pitch. This has been the first spring we have not experience water in the yard or the basement. We are very please with the results and would be happy to hire them again if we have any projects in there field

AJ came in and dug a 150' solid drain from a catch basin to the street. He also re-graded the back yard to divert water toward the catch basin which was installed. He was on time for the estimate and got back to me in a timely manner with a detailed quote. When the estimate was agreed upon work was scheduled within a week. We agreed on a day and AJ kept in contact the entire time with updates that could impact the work. The team showed up when agreed and did a majority of work on the fist day. They came back for a half day which was great to see the system in work and then have adjustments before they signed off on their work. Every change I asked for was done without complaint and to a high standard. The site was left in good condition with new grass seeded and covered with hay. Overall I was very happy with the work and the outcome, I would recommend them for any kind of drainage or landscaping work.

I contacted Maulucci Construction Co. as well as a few others to look at some drainage issues that were occurring on my property. All of them were responsive but AJ (from Maulucci) was very thorough and took his time to understand the issue and point out possible solutions. His estimate was in line with the others but on the lower end. During my selection process AJ was very responsive to questions and told me that his work was guaranteed to solve my drainage issue. AJ continued to be very responsive even after I agreed to hire him. He managed the entire process without needing my assistance and was done on time. AJ left the lawn and the landscaped area in the same condition he found it, and I'm very happy with the end product. I have not yet had a heavy rain to test out the drainage system, but once that happens I will update the review with my results. I am very happy with the work Maulucci did, and with the way that AJ managed communication with me. I will definitely contact him again if I need any additional work.

One thing that I really appreciated about the service, he provided a design eye. He had designs to improve what I wanted. He was on time and on budget, and found creative ways to get things done. He was freindly and personable, and professional.

We met AJ when he did some subcontracting work on a large renovation project. We'd been gathering estimates for a complete excavation/grading on our one acre lot - we had drainage issues as well as several large stumps that needed to be pulled. They came in, graded everything to slope toward a drain in the back, cleared an area of brush and put down a layer of top soil in prep for hydroseeing. Drainage issues appear to be corrected (the lawn isn't grown in yet) and the yard looks great now that it's level and even. We plan to use them again for some tree removal later this summer.
