+ 0 moreSeth and his assistant were on time, set up their tools on my balcony, laid tarps over my carpet so they could walk back and forth without making a mess. Seth had ordered the tiles and the all the materials he needed and brought everything with him. They showed me the plan for layout and cutting, edging, etc. They worked efficiently and returned the next morning to finish up. Seth told me how to care for the tiles. I am very, very pleased with the workmanship and the results.
Description of Work: I have used the company before so went to Seth for an estimate after receiving 2 other estimates. He was punctual, took time to understand what I wanted, looked at the samples I had acquired, took detailed measurements and notes. I hired him to install the tumbled marble and glass tile backsplash in my kitchen.

+ 0 moreTalking to Seth, I can tell he takes great pride in his work and he relies entirely on word of mouth from his customers. Even though Seth did not get the job from us, he was fantastic about discussing the job with me for 10-15 minutes on the phone, providing tips and recommendations to ensure a quality job. As I write this review, I'm having second thoughts about not having chosen him. If I do end up changing my mind, I'll be sure to to come back and write about his actual work. If you're looking for a bathroom expert, Seth seems to be it. I wish our budget was a little more because I'm sure he'd do the best job of any of the 4-6 contractors we interviewed.
Description of Work: Proposed job: Leaking shower rotted through to subfloor. Need to completely replace shower & floor tile throughout a 10'x8' bathroom with a 4'x3' shower. Seth is a consummate professional and if his quote was a little lower I would have definitely gone with him, but the $2k difference between his quote and another provider who got great reviews on Angie's List was just more than our budget could handle. I was referred to Seth by two separate sources and both highly praised his work. One referred to him as an "artist" and the other I actually saw the bathroom he did for my neighbor and the tile was perfectly done, including a basket-weave floor throughout the bathroom.
