The Quality of the work by the crews he sent were excellent. He was not present for most of the work although he did supervise the basic job by dropping by from time to time and on the phone when there was a problem. Steve Pomazi is an honest and sincere provider who has years of experience and a well trained crew with a very well trained supervisor of the crew. However Steve's ability to do what he says and Administer the job and completion on time while working on other jobs is NOT good. We signed a contract and I gave a deposit of approximately 25% on July 25, 2014. We were told that they had another job and would be back in 3 weeks and it would take approximately 1 week to complete. They did not begin on the job until September and then started and stopped at their convenience. It took a couple of weeks to do the job. I then asked him to do the roof on the garage and shed's which he started and then stopped leaving the job hurriedly to go to another job...leaving nails all over the place even causing a flat in the truck of our landscaper. Some other incidents where I had to compromise what I ordered and what was put on are as follows. I ordered brown metal trim to go under the roof line but when they were putting up the trim I saw that it was white and not brown...when the supervisor called Steve he said well you can't really see the trim behind the gutters so I settled for the white but it is not great on my brown wood house. Another incident is I ordered skylights that opened up. It took months to come and after they came they were about to put them in and I saw they were permanent skylights that did NOT open...again the supervisor called Steve and he said that he would reorder them...I said let me decide whether I wanted to go through all that. I kept the fixed skylights...again compromising what we had originally wanted. The work on the house, the garage and shed was well done even replacing wood on the roof and the garage when it needed to be replaced. The house roof wood needed minor repairs which he could have charged me for but didn't. The garage needed major wood replacement they used wood I had available but charged me for the labor which was fine. One other matter when fixing the garage roof we have a green house style shed right next to the garage and they broke one of the glass panels which when I notified them ( when I noticed it ) He said he would have to order it and he would replace it. He just replaced it in May 2015. The Subcontractor who did the gutters and leaders did not begin work until October...even though we paid a 50% deposit on July 25, 2014. The Subcontractor did an excellent job but it was 2 1/2 months after the fact. Given all of the above I just met today 6/3/15 with Steve Pomazi to go over the balance of what we owed which was mainly for the garage and the last 50% of the gutters which given the above I wanted to negotiate the balance. First to subtract from the cost of the lower priced skylights from that which I was originally charged for the skylights that opened which I did not receive. Second the cost of the used tire which the landscaper bought and I paid for, and thirdly the cost of leaders which I had on the house that did not have to be replaced. I also discussed with Steve the fact that with all the delays, incidents and compromises, he would be wise to take off from the overall balance a discount for "good will and fairness" which would have made up for them...like when you get a discount when buying something with a defect even though it does not effect the overall value of the item. (Even with the Bad Winter the roof and gutters held up well.) He took nothing off for "goodwill..." I will be paying Steve the balance over the next few months and I let him know I was not pleased with how he handled these matters. I did say I would be filling out this review. So for the reasons stated, even though Steve is honest and sincere, the work was quality, the price and flexibility to make payments was also good...I would not do business with Steve Pomazi again.
Description of Work: They Replaced the entire roof shingles on the house and later on we added the Garage roof. The gutters and the leaders for the house and garage were done by a Subcontractor hired by Steve Pomazi. Another Subcontractor also hired by Steve Pomazi did a very good job for Chimney Flashing.

He was wonderful. He is completely honest, and saved us money. The quality of the work was impeccable. He even put a cross in a contrasting color on the roof.
Description of Work: He replaced the roof on our church.
