FIVE STAR PAINTING & WALLPAPERING PLUS LLC

Rob Moravsky is the owner of Five Star Painting and Wallpapering Plus. He started work on my house the second week in July 2014 and, today, October 20, it still hasn't been completed. He sanded two sides and part of a third side of the house down to bare wood then applied two coats of stain but about five weeks later the cedar started to bleed through. I checked the directions on an empty pail of stain that he had left behind and even though it stated that unfinished wood should be primed he failed to do so. There are gouge marks on the cedar siding where an electric sander was used and it looks just awful. He caulked spaces between boards after staining and they show up as shiny vertical lines. He hit his ladder against the front banister knocking it off and left it leaning against a tree refusing to do anything about that because he says it was loose. He has not finished replacing trim on screened porch or back windows, has not secured the light fixture at the garage and has left gutter downspouts hanging. He said he provides a five year warranty but he still hasn't completely finished the work he was paid to do. His ladder and his trash are left here from a month ago. He talks a good line but it is what it is.

Rob from Five Star came to assess what needed to be done. He was very prepared. He had a notebook where he took notes on the different tasks. He came the following week. He did some work during the hours when my spa was not open. When I told him I had clients coming in thirty minutes he and his staff quickly cleaned up. Everything was back in place before my clients arrived. He and his staff came back the following week to finish the job. We had to brainstorm which paints to use. Rob was great at working with me to figure it out. Then they got to work. Everything now looks crisp. The plaster job is excellent. Also, Rob and his staff are very professional and have a positive, "can do" attitude.

Rob is a very personable and professional painter/wallpaperer, who does quality work. He returned my initial phone call promptly and came to our house to give us an estimate within the next day or two. His start of the job was delayed slightly by a snowstorm, but once he started, he worked steadily, and very neatly, until the job was done. We are very pleased with the result and the new look for our kitchen. His assistant also did excellent work. I highly recommend Five Star Painting and Wallpapering Plus and would hire Rob again without hesitation. In addition, Rob seems to really enjoy his work.

Rob has been very professional, organized, clean and finish the job on time. His work was closer to perfection, his crew was professional and friendly too. He cleaned up after each day's work got over. I will recommend him and definitely hire him for future jobs.

The job turned out beautifully, and it was very easy to work with Five Star. Rob Moravsky, the owner, was recommended highly by another contractor that I trust. We had just installed new hardwood floors in the family room, so I wanted to make sure the painting was top-quality as well. We had a number of difficult spots, including a section of old wallboard that had to be re-taped. These problem areas were handled perfectly. The painting was handled by a crew of 2-4 over several days, with Rob on site most of the time. All in all, I am very happy with how it turned out.

Rob Moravsky the owner of five star Painting and Wallpaper came in and and met with me and my wife to pick paint colors and spent a lot of time helping us and suggested colors we would never had picked but they look great, Rob and his crew showed up on time everyday and covered everything and was very respectful with our belongings; He took pictures of everything before he moved anything so he could put it back. Everything came out great and we could not have been happier we will defiantly use them again and tell all of our friends.
