The Home Advisor Service gave me three contractors and they responded immediately. Mr. Vazquez arrived on time for his appointment and spent considerable time measuring and designing the cornice that was needed for the window. He then gave me an estimate for each job and a total. We scheduled a Saturday appointment to do the electrical work. My only complaint in this whole process is that he called that morning to delay the work until later in the day but when he arrived he not only did the electrical work but finished the whole job. I spent about 4 hours worrying that he was not going to be reliable when, in fact he was extremely reliable and did an excellent job. When he left that day all four jobs were complete, the mess was cleaned up and I was very happy.

Nixon saved me a bunch of money by repairing a glass slider rather than replacing. His experience told him it was not a case of broken parts, just fouled ones that could be cleaned. He also did a second job for me on installing a fire door and showed a lot of initiative in rejecting Home Depot's first selection and actually going to anotherHD store location to get a better door. Price was very reasonable on this job as well

The only difficulty I had was communicating. Their heavy Mexican accent was difficult to understand. The owner was polite, timely, efficient and he expedited the job.. Very pleased with the work.
