About us

American Pride LLC was opened in 2002 as a gift store but with sales far and inbetween Richard decided to start repairing lamps and fixtures. After 30 years in the electrical wholesale business he had kept many contacts in the electrical field. A small family owned business the only employees are Rich and his wife of 44 years, Marie. Rich does the repairs himslef because he wants it done right. We make repairs for homeowners, interior designers, antique dealers, electricians, builders, lighting stores, and lighting importers. Located in small, quaint Bethel where Rich grew up. American Pride is not only our name but our way of life.

Lamp and fixture repairs, make things into lamps and sell fixture parts. We also have a large supply of lamp shades. Our retail store has a large inventory of all kinds of flags and patriotic items like bumper stickers, military ball caps, lapel pins, key chains, travel mugs, blue star banners, etc.

The repaired the lantern, but the repair did not hold. They gladly repaired it again, without charge - and all is good.

I droped it off on a monday and he called me on friday. I piced it up one hour later.
Description of Work: I have a custom made stained glass chandalier. It wa sabout 40 years old. It needed to be rewired. The propriorator of this small and pleasnat store did a great job exactly as we discussed. It took him only 5 days to complete the work and it was priced as predicted. I couldn't be more satisfied.

They were recommended to me by another retailer who said that if they have a problem send their lamps to American Pride. Whenever I go to the store and I tell them what I need they are upfront about how long the project will take. Even if it is predicted to take about 4 weeks I just leave my lamps there and they comeplete the project. They always send my lamps back with the issues resolved.
