+ -1 moreThe quality of the finished product is excellent. We did have to change to make changes to the initial design based on concerns expressed by the building inspector. These changes resulted in the job taking a longer time to complete and ultimately costing considerably more money.
Description of Work: Replacement of existing deck with a pressure treated wood deck. Also will be installing a new sliding glass door for exiting the dining room onto the deck balcony.

+ -1 moreThe job went according to schedule and we were very pleased with the work. He found some boards and stairs that needed to be replaced because they had rotted. He still was able to complete the project on time and with great results.
Description of Work: Russell designed and submitted drawings to Building official, relocated benches and flower boxes, trimmed off overhang, and installed railing to meet building code. He was very helpful in being sensitive to the original design and suggesting ways to stay within my limited budget and time constraints. He presented options and the costs and helped me understand what was involved in each. Throughout the process, his work was very professional and he was very patient and responsive to any of my concerns.
