Description of Work: This is the second time I have used Leathersmith to repair my leather. I was moving from one house to another and my back seat was filled with items. I was not aware that there was a sharp edge on one of the pieces. It dug into the back of my seat and make a v shaped cut into the back of my driver's seat. I called Leathersmith and sent them a photo of the tear. They were able to give me a free estimate and I thought the price was very fair. I went to their shop and within an hour my seat was fixed.

+ -1 moreThe leather repair was so well done that the chair looks as though nothing ever happened to it. The leather used was of high quality, matching the rest of this big chair & ottoman's leather perfectly; they stitched the new piece of leather into the chair's side so expertly that I cannot see any difference between the replaced panel and the rest of the chair's existing stitching; and new color was skilfully matched with the old. Finally all this happened for a price that I considered reasonable and fair.
Description of Work: LeatherSmith CT (of Bethany, CT) repaired a damaged leather chair at our home in Fairfield, CT. Not sure what happened to damage chair, but it suffered a tear that created a hole in one of its sides the size of a lemon. The contractor tried to have the hole repaired but it looked to us like a patch job that was re-colored and sealed with leather repair products. Not satisfied with this repair job, I researched leather furniture repairs, was impressed by LeathersmithCT's website and after talking with them, gave them the chair to repair. They replaced the damaged panel with a new panel of high quality leather, beautifully re-stitching it into place, matching the chair's color and returning it to me a few weeks later in perfect shape, like new. An impressively well done job.
