First of all that first phone conversation with Mike was very reassuring because after I explained what happened he was fairly certain that I did not need that much work. We'd had our house inspected just one year earlier and my Husband had been on the roof more recently, even a non-professional would have noticed some of the problems they claimed we had. Wes came out just a few days later and sure enough none of the work we were quoted was needed. They could have gotten that extra $60 for a sweep but they said we didn't even need a cleaning. They were very thorough and polite. They even put a little more caulk over the edge of the flashing just for prevention because the caulk that was there was applied a bit bumpy, no extra charge for that.

Not good had to get some other company as this company put bad bricks on on the chimney

Scheduled strictly chimneys to come and inspect and clean my boiler flue and fireplace flue as well as to inspect and paint a rusty fireplace chimney cap. I've used strictly chimneys at my old house and was please so I used them again at the new house. We scheduled the appointment but unfortunately it was raining the day they were to come. Mike called and advised that we should reschedule so that all of the work could be done in one call which would be less expensive. We rescheduled to today and Mario came out and was punctual polite and honest. He inspected the fireplace flue and determined a sweep wasn't needed and determined the boiler flue did need cleaning. He took care of that while another gentleman (can't recall his name) swept from outside the house up on the chimney. He also inspected the cap, determined the rust was just superficial and cleaned and painted the cap black. They were here for maybe 45 minutes and all prices and work were presented up front with no pressure for additional work. Strictly Chimneys was very honest and good to me in the past at my old house (another company tried to sell me a liner I didn't need at my old house while Strictly Chimneys verified my old house chimney clay liner was in good shape) and I knew they would be good to me at my new house. There may be other vendors out there that are a little cheaper but the quality of the work and honesty of both the field crew and owner Mike make Strictly Chimneys a no brainer for me.

They were the most competitive quote out of the services we spoke with, and their professionalism and knowledge were what made us choose them. After setting up an appointment, Wes and crew arrived on time as stated, and were friendly and extremely professional. The guys immediately got to work, inspected everything and didn't touch anything until they had shown and spoken to us about what they intended to do. After our approval they started work and were extremely efficient. Hard workers, everything was done quickly and thoroughly and they cleaned up completely after they were done. Like they were never there. Also, they let us personally inspect the work and made sure we were happy with everything before printing up any paperwork or requesting payment. A great experience from start to finish, these guys deserve all the reviews they get on here, and I will certainly recommend them and use them in the future for any chimney service we need.

I have used Strictly Chimneys 3 times over the past 4 years because of their professionalism. Every time I use them it is a great experience. I feel I can honestly comment on their great service. They provide a quote first and let you book a date and time for your schedule. They give you a window for them to call you prior to the appointment and show up at designated time. I have always been very pleased with the services they provide as they are neat, clean up any debris and they have manors. 10/13 swept oil flue $315.37 plus replaced chimney clean out gate outside on the chimney 5/16/2012 Broke out old thimble. Cleaned thimble area and replaced hole area with new bricks. $225.00 A couple years prior to these dates they had to re-point the chimney. They had to go down 10 rows to replace the bricks and put a cap on the top. With all the reason I have used them I recommend them highly!

The company was easy to deal with and quick. The techs were extremely helpful. They took into consideration about the fact we had a baby in the house.

I had the work done more thank 5 years ago, so I have not sure what specifics / details to give. The company was highly recommended by a neighbor up the street. I called " Strictly Chimneys" ; they were polite; professional ; reasonable & did a great job ! Guess I do recall the most important details. :>)

They looked at the chimney and proposed "sealing the chimney" first to see if that fixed the problem. I gave the OK, and they went up to seal it. They came back down almost immediately and said they would not be sealing it. They took pictures of the chimney and said it needed to be replaced. I was very impressed with their honesty and professionalism.

They were excellent. It was a very quick project. They were very punctual and professional. It was a good price. They knew exactly what to do. The roofers went up the next day and were very impressed. It was extremely easy.

So I'm relatively new to owning a wood stove, 3 years in. I finally brought in a chimney sweep to clean everything out, and this company is who I chose to work with. I definitely made the right decision. They were more than accommodating when it came to my mistakes (they had to come back three times, as I kept burning the stove the night before... Whoops!). When it finally came time for service, they were well at the beginning of the two hour window I was provided with. Two men arrived, one to set up a shop vac and clean out the stove while the other went roof side to sweep. Meticulous is the word that comes to mind when describing their work. Not one bit of soot hit my floor and the stove was brushed out with a soft bristle brush until the only thing left in it were the cleaned bricks (both sides). They gave me an assessment of how well I was burning everything and while I asked for tips to improve things, they said I had it down perfectly. Definitely using them every year!

They were very good. They were very professional. We loved them. We wish they could have helped us, but we need something other than what they are good at. They were thorough, and honest.

We knew our chimney needed a lot of help. We called three companies for estimates. Strictly Chimneys gave us the best price and included some items not listed on the other estimates. Though Strictly Chimneys estimate was detailed, I had many questions regarding the chimney liner and flue cap. Michael, the owner, was extremely helpful. He answered all my questions in detail and very promptly. Once we decided to hire Strictly Chimneys, they were able to schedule the work the following week. The job took the three man crew a full day. They did excellent work completing everything listed on the estimate, and left the yard as clean as they found it. The chimney looks great and we no longer have to worry about the tree that was growing out of the top of it.

I've used strictly chimneys a few times over the years. First was in 2008 when I was having my roof done. My chimney needed some serious work so I contacted another provider for a quote. They tried to sell me a whole new liner. I called Strictly Chimneys for a second opinion. They said I did not need a new liner and just should go with a cap, repointing, and water proofing. This work went extremely well and I was thrilled with their honesty and not trying to sell me a product I didn't need. When it came time to get my chimney cleaned out, I contacted them. I also had a few minor spots of mortar that had come out and mentioned that. They came and cleaned the chimney for around 200 and repatched the mortar for no additional charge. Everyone there who I've dealt with has been extremely honest, patient, and great at explaining things to someone who doesn't know much about masonry or how chimneys actually work. I may need to get the step flashing on my chimney re-done and I will definitely be reaching out to strictly chimneys.

The technicians were very helpful. They inspected the fireplace and oil flue and advised that the oil flue needed to be swept. They also removed fireplace ashes for no additional charge using a vacuum.
