Awesome experience. The Bosco Brothers we super professional and always very courteous. They were honest in their timetable and surpassed my expectations. Use Bosco painting and you will have no complaints. I will use them for all painting needs in the future.

Response from BOSCO PAINTING
I completed (member name removed)’s living room and hall in October of 2013. Ceiling walls and wood trim were prepared and painted in accordance with my contract. As part of my job I repaired some minor wall damage and on her ceiling I repaired on major stress crack located at about mid room adjacent to the hall entrance. This repair was done by screwing the ceiling tight and then using repair mesh tape. When I finished the job she was pleased with my work and had additional work in her family room. In august of 2014 (member name removed) scheduled me to return in October 2014 to fix a wall problem above her fire place in her living room. She claimed it was a bad repair. The location of this tape pop was not my repair! The tape was old and covered with black mildew on the back side. I fixed it at no cost to her. This was an act of good will on my part. (Member name removed) also pointed out a barely visible hair line crack at the ceiling wall line about 5 feet in from the fireplace wall. Once again this was not something that was repaired by me at the time of the original work order, however I filled the crack at no cost to her and returned 2 weeks later with the original ceiling paint and touched up to blend at no cost to her. at the time of the original estimate I said that my work was guaranteed for 1 year and explained that ceiling stress cracks often return and are caused by temperature extremes, heavy snow on the roof, old and brittle sheetrock, building settlement and earthquakes in eastern CT that have caused crack damage through central CT. my one year guarantee ended in October 2014. Also when I returned and fixed her problems that were not my original repair work I did this at no cost to her and did not charge her, however my kindness was not appreciated by (member name removed.) At this point you have a homeowner trying to take advantage of a paint contractor’s good will. In closing I’d like you to know that since 1988 when Bosco painting began vie had no complaints against my contractor’s license and my company also has a perfect record of no complaints with the better business bureau. So when you examine my perfect record of service you have to consider that something is wrong with (member name removed) sense of right and wrong. If this problem results in more negative harassment I will refer this matter to my legal counsel.

Description of Work: I was looking for someone to paint our living room and den. When I called Bosco Painting and left a voice mail, I received a return call within 2 hours. We then set up a time for him to come out and give us an estimate. He came exactly when he said he would, and I was very impressed by his professionalism and his thoroughness in evaluating our job. He gave us ideas and some suggestions on a couple of problem areas. That was a Saturday.....we got the quote on Monday. When we decided to go with him he said he had 3 days free the following week. We were thrilled. He came on Monday morning with 2 of his sons and began the job. They finished by the end of the day on Tuesday!!! That included 1 ceiling, crown molding, all baseboard, window casings radiator covers, stair risers, and stair case, and of course the walls in both rooms......all done beautifully. |Their prep work was awesome......all areas taped, and all of our furniture protected by plastic. They were very respectful of our belongings. And then the cleanup was just as thorough. I would highly recommend Tom Bosco and his sons for any painting job you have. Excellent work, and very nice guys, too.

We needed/wanted to redo our family room, it was in terrible condition, wood etc everywhere, a real eye sore. We need someone who could come in, help us decide what we needed to get the room in shape again. We met a number of other contractors and one thing or another was not to our liking. We wanted someone that had an interest in treating our house like it was thier own, not jsut a $$. We continued to look..... We searched and took our time, as we don't have alot of money to throw away for mistakes or train someone who says they know ... (but they don't).... until one day. We met Tom, the owner of Bosco Painting a family owned business who worked with his sons ... awesome family. We hit it off immediately, very friendly and knowledagble, been in the business for many years and best of all, he's from our town... awesome. We described what we wanted and he made suggestions regarding the job until we honed in exactly what we wanted. He saved us money and time, by the time we finished our discussion (not long), he was able to go back to his office and provided a proposal for the project. We agreed on price and scheduled the job. Tom and his son arrived on Time like clock work.did a Perfect Job ... everything was 100% spot on, beautiful, jsut perfect from the floor to the ceiling, it was beautiful... and my favorite part of the room is the ceiling, it was a great idea to not cover up the boards, we primed and painted it white and it's a talking point ... gorgeous. We love the room, its one of our favorite rooms in the house. Tom and his son compeleted everything better than expected... all high quality work.. these guys are truely craftsmen... not contractors. We highly recommend anyone who needs a great company who keeps thier word, does a perfect job, really know and understand what you need and want, within budget, time quality you can take to the bank and most of all, trust and count on - Call Bosco Painting - You WILL NOT REGRET IT... these guys are keepers. Awesome
