Description of Work: A person came out and looked at the job and spent almost an hour here. He said I would get a quote in four days. After 5 days I tried to contact him but got no reply. They didn't have the courtesy to tell me they didn't want to do the job.

Description of Work: Better Basement came out to estimate doing some cabinet work in our laundry/half bath. I thought the quote was high and it didn't break out exactly what they were going to do. They also quoted a partial basement update which we need to think on as it's more than we wanted to spend. They (Jeremy) was extremely nice, professional and explained quite a bit.

Description of Work: They removed and then replaced sheetrock As is often the case, a remodel turns in to more work. They tried to charge exorbitant prices for additional work. The work they did do was fine, but they also tried to tell me with work contracted for was not all covered in the contract and jack up the price.

Description of Work: They replaced a fan with one I provided. They provided the remote control switch. They replaced outlets in the kitchen with GFCI outlets. The work was done well. The crew were polite and friendly. It was difficult getting the answers I needed including quotes and availability prior to the work being scheduled. But once it was done, I was pleased.
