They accurately figured out the cause of my leak and fixed it. (They did not originally install the roof.) While they were there and on the roof, I asked if they would install a chimney cap that I had but hadn't gotten to yet. They took care of it for no extra charge. The new part of the roof blends into the original part beautifly.

The contractor's representative arrived on time but they had apparently not read our request for proposal closely. They do not provide the cedar clapboard siding we requested and we are not interested in vinyl. The contractor left without taking measurements or making a proposal.

I was very satisfied with the end result, however, the process of getting the project scheduled was a nightmare. It was almost two months from the date we went to contract, with a significant deposit, to the beginning of the actual work. The most troublesome issue was that I was not contacted by anyone from Digorgio to keep me informed about scheduling. Granted, it was a rainy time and much of their work had to be postponed. That is totally understandable and acceptable. However, weeks went by without any attempt to inform me of the delay of this project. To add insult and frustration to injury, I contacted them at least 3 times and was spoken to in a very rude manner or was never called back. The roofers were professional, unlike the management, they did a very good job. The Leaf Guard installers were a different story. They were rushed, rude and left a mess. DiGorgio did get them to come back and clean up. Overall, it was a trying process and the inspector at the end of the job was apologetic and professional. I would probably use them in the future but I would NOT accept any nonsense. Live and learn.

Great job. Took care of leak. Showed up when indicated and completed timely and neatly. Installed gutter guard and haven 't needed to clean out gutters since. Leak occurred in the area near the area where the roof was replaced. Called them and they came and corrected the problem at no cost.

I could not have been happier from the initial quote for the job to completion. The workers were punctual, knowledgeable and courteous. They offered helpful suggestions and follow up immediately. Work was done in the time estimated and everything was cleaned up as if they were never there. The workmanship was top shelf. I would use them again in an instant. Only drawback is they are on the expensive side, however, for this job the insurance was helping.

They did excellent. The representative was very informative. They came on time, and left no mess. The workers were very polite. They were happy to answer any questions that I had, and I felt very comfortable recommending them to other people.

I was not home to see the workers, but my wife was very impressed with how neat and professional they were. When they went to replace the front door, they discovered the main sill under the door was rotted and needed to be replaced. They sent in another team of workers who specialized in this type of repair. There was no extra cost for this repair. Two years later the seal on the bottom of the door ripped and they came out and replaced it with a newer style seal at no cost. The over all cost seamed a little high at first, but the quality of the product and professionalism of the workers made it with while.

" Dan the Man" (Daniel) came over and gave us an estimation for the roofing and gutters. Our house is a split level and the roof was quite big so we were happy with the price and with Digiorgi. The roofing guys came exactly before 07:00 am and left by 4:00pm for almost 3 days and the job was done beyond our expectation. I am happy that I went with Dan's suggestion on leaf guard gutters and now my house looks beautiful with new roof and Gutters. I don't have to worry about the leaking roofs or to clean the clogging gutters and water in the basement. The nails and all the trash were removed completely. We received the transferable warranty which is an added advantage and I also got a discount on the roof boards as a gift. Finally, the company sent their supervisor to check on our satisfaction and only then they received the check. Altogether it was a wonderful experience. I will definitely consider Digiorgi first for any of my future work!!

I made an appointment to have a salesperson meet with me at 9 AM on a Monday morning. They did not show up. They did not call. I even received a card confirming my appointment the week before. If you can't even keep your sales appointment there's no way I'll do business with you. * Update: I'll give them another chance.

They were very prompt and even completed the work ahead of schedule which was fortunate since this took place just before Superstorm Sandy struck the East Coast. The job was obviously well done as we did not lose any shingles nor did we experience any leaks. There may have been some small amounts of debris but it was insignificant given the amount of work performed. Some may consider them a bit pricey but I believe the investment was worth it given the materials and the workmanship.

The representative that came out, looked at the roof and determined what needed to be done and explained the materials. They gave me literature on recommendations of their work from prior customers, we looked at that and decided we would definitely go with these people. The man did his absolute best to get his people out here as quickly as he could. From that point of view, I was very pleased with him. The price seemed to be reasonable. The thing that really sold them to us was when they told us they would do the roof in one day; I said to them no way, but it was done; they did it in one day. They showed up here seven in the morning, one crew showed up to strip the roof, there was another crew picking up from the ground, and the third crew came in and put the roof on. This is no exaggeration but by 2.30 in the afternoon, they were all done and they even cleaned up before they left. The same day the dumpster came in and hauled the old roof and everything away. It was very well choreographed.

So overall I was not impressed Let me start with the roof. The roof was priced higher than other bids I got so I didn't use them for the roof and the windows I just never did. I haven't done the windows yet. I might use them for the windows. The windows were reasonably priced I just haven't gotten around to them. DiGiorgi came, they took measurements, they were going to send me stuff but they never even sent me a conceptual plan. I didn't use them because they were more expensive on some stuff and they never got back to me at all on the bathroom stuff, with which I was very surprised. They were pleasant enough people that came but they guy I told that the things were expensive for me he was very nice. I said that it was too expensive and he understood. The other guy with the bathroom stuff from DiGiorgi, with him I was very unhappy. I spent the time, went through it and expected him to send me some rough plans. I never got them. I just said if you cant send me some plans I'm not going to do business with you. There was little follow through and they were expensive. They were more than the competitors on the roof price and there was no follow through on the bathroom. I'm not happy I never got the bathroom done. There were two different guys. One was pretty good and one was terrible. So I don't want the guy who came out for the roof and the windows to be penalized because he was good on all counts. The price was no good. But the guy for the bathroom from DiGiorgi was horrible through and through. So there were two different men from the same company. The guy for the windows and the roof was good. He was responsive the followed through and he did what he had to do it's just the price was about 6 or $7000 more than the other providers. But overall he was a nice guy, he followed through and I'd give him good ratings for that. The guy for the bathroom was terrible. The guy for the bathroom really dragged down the overall ratings. He brought the score of the other guy down.

The salesperson came to my house, inspected the roof, and then went over the estimate and his recommendations. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I had a previous estimate from another roofer that was a few thousand dollars less expensive, but I also had a sample of what the other roofer proposed to use for shingles. There was no comparison with the shingles. The ones used by DiGiorgi were much thicker and of much better quality. I gave a small deposit (2,000), and agreed upon a 3 week time frame for installation. In the end, I asked them to delay a few more weeks because I was on vacation, and they accommodated that. Before the job was done, I received written tips on how to prepare for the installation (regarding moving anything that might be in the way - which for me was not the case. It also described how the job would be done, over 3 days, and want to expect at the end of each business day. They arrived on the date promised, promptly at 8 a.m. and worked diligently each day. At the end of each day, they cleaned the site before leaving. By day 3 the job was done. No muss, no fuss. One week later, a representative made an appointment with me to inspect the job and let him know if everything was to my satisfaction. I can't think of one recommendation I would have given them for improvement. The reason I went with this roofer instead of others I had received quotes from, is because I have done business with them before for siding and for gutters. In both cases, the process and the services were the same. In fact, with regard to my siding, I had at least two times when I had dents into my siding (caused by us, not by siding defect). I called the company and within a couple of days the siding was repaired - free of charge, no questions asked. When they say lifetime guarantee, the really really mean it! In short, of all the contractors I have done business with, I would have to rate DiGiorgi at the top of the list. Their prices will always be a slight bit higher - but their material will be top notch, their work meticulous, and their customer service extraordinary.

It went very well. The sales person was very attentive and immediately got back to me in seconds through email. The work crew knew what they were doing and they were responsible and they did an excellent job.

They are really good. They call ahead and let you know what to expect. If the weather is an issue they call to reschedule. They are really great at communicating with you. The crew works very well together and they cleaned everything up nicely. The roof came out really nice. They have always followed up with us and came back to look at any concerns we had. They were just really good. They are an excellent company to work with.

The Sales person I dealt with was prompt and incredibly easy to work with. Due to my job, I generally prefer to work via E-mail which they accommodated, and I received responses within a couple of hours. The team came to install the roof was very professional and worked very quickly. They were able to complete the job the same day. I would completely recommend Digiorgi for any roofing needs, they were phenomenal through out the whole process.

Representative from this company was very professional. He arrived on time and was able to explain everything well. They offered top notch package and warranty. Their rate was a little bit too much for me and I ended up hiring someone else. If I had the money, I would have hired them.

I did not use this contractor. The Salesman that came to the house was really polite. They were willing to work with what I wanted. I decided to go with another because I liked the type of siding he presented and they were also willing to work with what I wanted.

DiGiorgi did great job. Price was right. They were professional from quoting stage to finishing the job. The 2 gentlemen who did the work were very polite and neat.

I received 3 quotes for the roofing job I needed. DiGiorgi was in fact the highest of the three bids I received but I was impressed by their professionalism, the fact that they offered the best warranty on materials AND labor and the fact that they offered interest free financing. Once the job was scheduled, I received multiple phone calls from the company confirming the day and time that work would begin. On the day of construction, the workers arrived promptly and were "all business". I was told that the job would take two days to complete and they were done in one. Workmanship and cleanup afterwards were both superb. Perhaps the most telling experience about working with DiGiorgi roofing was that I had contracted to have some small additional work performed on my roof, that had been omitted on the day of construction. I mentioned this when it was time to make my final payment and the sales rep said he would have someone take care of it. I afterwards wondered if I should have made my final payment without the job being completely finished. However several days later I came home for lunch one day and there was a DiGiorgi crew finishing the omitted work as promised. An excellent, honest company!

Due to time of year there were weather delays. Good communication did excellent job good clean up.

I liked what he showed me, he measured the windows and gave me a price. The price was right, I felt, and I signed a contract to go ahead. A few days later a man came to measure the old windows as the new windows were custom made. About a week later I received a call that my windows were in and we made an appointment for their installation. The crews were not only on time for appointments, they were in every case about 15 minutes early. They were quiet, polite and very respectful of my home. No blaring radios! At the end of the day they cleaned up and carted away any debris from their work. I had worried about the bay window being tied into the house, but the guys figured it out and the work on that particular window was completed in 2 days. I can't praise this company enough. The new windows are tight as a drum and look sensational. I had questions about another problem, mainly gutters, and they cheerfully answered and offered advice. This company is the ideal model for the services they offer and rightly prides itself on it's service record. They are truly the best that I have ever encountered.
