Everything went exremely well! The fence looks beautiful and the gates are great. Gary and his staff really know what they're doing. It's been almost a year since we had the fence installed and it helped up very well through the winter. We're very happy we choice GP Fence. Excellent service, great price, and a great product.
Description of Work: Gary and his team installed a cedar fence with two gates.

He and his team worked in some of the hottest weather--above 100--to make the installation. All post holes were hand dug, which I appreciated because of critical piping underground near the fence line. They were polite and professional, with the work completed in a few days. He also came back after installation to clear up/smooth dirt that had been dug up to install posts. As I write this, everything is still standing straight and working well. I have contacted Gary for additional work, and have received quick responses.
Description of Work: Gary installed hundreds of feet of aluminum (where you can see it) and chain-link (where you can't see it) fencing around new pool. Aluminum posts were sunk in concrete footings, and chain-link in deeply sunk wood posts.

I think I told most of the story in the previous question. Gary returns calls promptly, he arrives to perform free estimates as scheduled, and he arrived to do the job when he said he would. The workmanship of his fences is superb! We are very happy with the end product. I think that, for the price, it is an excellent value--Approximately 148' of custom built, 6' high white cedar stockade fence that wraps around 2 sides of our property, with one custom made entry gate into our backyard.
Description of Work: Our property abuts a car wash and the previous owners had installed a stockade fence along the border for privacy. Last fall we noticed areas in the fence that were loose and rotting, so we called Gary Patnode of GP Complete Lawn Care and Fence Installations. This is the second time we have called Gary for fence installation on the property. Last year he replaced a rotting split rail fence along the front of the property. We are very happy with the work done by Gary and his employees, who are polite, professional and reliable. Gary isn't only the installer of the fencing, he actually mills the white cedar trees in his shop. Because of this, the two fences he installed for us were custom made. Gary gave us an estimate about a month ago, and we called him to schedule the work within a week. He returned to pick up a deposit for the materials (50% of the total), and told us he would let us know when we could expect to see him. The reason I rated him "good" in responsiveness and punctuality instead of "Excellent" was because I ended up calling him after about 3 weeks to see when we could be put on the schedule. I had ordered some bushes that were to be planted along the fence and I didn't want to put them in the ground before he put up the fence. As it worked out, he put us in the schedule for the very next day and was able to complete the work over 3 days. Gary had 2 young men in his employ who performed much of the work, sometimes in his absence, as he was tending to other business. These 2 employees were knowledgeable of their work and respectful our property. I am happy with the work they performed. To begin, the three men took down the existing fence with the use of a chain saw and sheer force. Apparently the previous owners had a 2' high, 20' long planter built in front of the fence and attached it to the fence using long steel rods. Also, our property slopes dramatically in places and isn't at all level. It was quite a job for them to remove the existing fence without damaging the 20' raised planter box, build a new one and maintain the pleasing visual continuity of a straight fence where the property dipped and raised every several feet. The three men were at our home from about 11 AM until 5 PM on that first day. When they left, they had taken all the old fence with them, and left no mess in the yard. The second day the 2 young men returned without Gary to finish their part of the job, and on day 3 Gary himself returned. He completed the gate installation and took care of any concerns we had voiced to the others in his absence. For instance, there was one picket that had gotten damaged that he replaced and he also built up the ground along one sloped section of fence where there was a 4" gap at the bottom.
