We’ve had water intrusion issues ever since roof replaced by JulesPoirier Company in 2020. Jules and his Team did 3 follow up inspections, two times they attributed fault to other issues (gutters/chimney condition). Fair, we weren’t looking to pin our issues on something beyond their control. We took that advice to heart and addressed those concerns with a chimney / flashing rebuild as well as twice annual gutter cleaning and now replacement to larger gutters. When the water intrusion issue continued Jules’ team this time pointed blame to a 2nd story window and caulked the flashing/ J channel at the roof to siding transition below the point they suspected water was entering the home. When the water intrusion issue continued I decided to seek advice from other local companies which was an eye opening experience. Seemingly every siding to roof transition was installed incorrectly. Flashing / counter flashing done wrong. Nails through step flashing. Drip edge was also placed on top of ice and water shield (should be below). These issues now need to be addressed at an additional expense to us less than 4 years after our roof was replaced. The caulking they carelessly placed will also make the repairs more difficult. Unacceptable. Upon raising these findings to Jules - no response at all. That’s fine, we would not want JulesPoirier Co doing any further work on our home, but the dancing around an issue of their creation is maddening. Their pricing (in 2020) was competitive with others we received, they were not the lowest bidder nor the highest, but the quality of work is severely lacking and their customer service has been equally poor. Roof replacements are a significant expense to homeowners, we hope you take this review into consideration before contracting with JulesPoirier Company.

We hired Jules a few years back to install replacement windows in the older section of our home. Overall, we were happy and satisfied with the entire process. In particular, there has always been ONE window out of the fourteen or so we had installed, that was quirky and gave us problems each time we went to open the window. We notified Jules of this numerous times and because his office was somewhat across the street from us, he has volunteered to come over to our home to demonstrate how we were opening our window the “wrong way.” Each time we dealt with him, he acted impatient and bothered by us. His condescending tone, especially to me, is not only demeaning, but misogynistic. My husband and I know how to open and close the windows properly. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know how to open these windows. I often clean them myself and have never had an issue except for this one window. The silver mechanism, which the window is supposed to fit into, is faulty. I called him this morning to tell him once again the window is not staying up, but falling down on its own. Once again, he spoke to me in a condescending tone and tried telling me it was my fault. He then told me our “conversation is over.” I told him that I wanted the window fixed once and for all so that this wouldn’t keep happening (it was ONE window). He took an angry tone with me simply for wanting it to be fixed. I have never been treated so unprofessionally by a business owner. We gave him a lot of business and to be treated this way is beyond rude and unprofessional. In addition to be treated this way, he mistakenly left an inappropriate voicemail message on my phone where he was cursing out a female driver due to road rage while he was apparently driving. He was unaware that he had not hung up the phone with me and his entire expletive-riddled tirade was left on my voicemail. He was yelling at a driver, calling her the worst names imaginable and it was all recorded and left on my phone. After the numerous degrading conversations I’ve had with Jules, it’s easy for me to ask myself if his heinous cursing was really aimed at a woman during his road rage incident or, if it was really directed at me instead. One can only wonder. There are many businesses to choose these days, so choose wisely. No one should be treated or spoken to the way I have been today.

We bought a place in Avon 2+ years ago and had many, many contractors help us fix up the older house. Jules and his team were one of the most positive experiences we had. He is tremendous with customer service, they come when they say they will and do a great job at a fair price. I recommend them highly. More important, I have come to trust him. Great company to work with.

Each of jobs was performed by excellent installer craftsmen. All work performed to schedule with excellent daily communication of job status. Craftsmen were polite and answered all our questions.

We had heard horror stories from family and friends of their experiences with other window and siding companies, so we were expecting the worst, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our project was expected to take a minimum of 3 weeks, but Jules's (the Owner) workers completed the job in just over 2 weeks. It went off without any issues or concerns. His workers showed up every day just before 7am and worked straight through without stopping (except for their 1/2 hour lunch breaks daily) until 3:30pm Monday through Friday. We have 3 indoor only cats and we were concerned with their safety while our house was going to be worked on, but after talking with Jules and the workers we came up with a plan to ensure their safety and ensure that the job would continue along smoothly. The workers were very aware of where our cats were kept each day and they were sure to ask us, and let us know if they needed to be kept in a separate room from where they were working. They understood our concerns and were very flexible with us about them. We asked a lot of questions while the guys were working, just as a learning process for us. The guys were more than happy to answer any and all questions we had, and if they weren't 100% sure of an answer Jules was available to answer any and all of our questions. The craftsmanship and expertise of the workers shows in our final outcome. Our house came out better than we expected and we are more than happy with Jules Poirier Co. LLC and his workers. We would definitely use them again for future projects, and even explained to Jules Poirier that we would be contacting him again in the spring to do 2 more doors on our house for us. Thanks to everyone's professionalism, courtesy, understanding, and punctuality our job came out perfect, and better than we could have ever imagined. We will definitely be referring all of our family and friends to Jules Poirier Co. LLC for any and all doors, windows, or siding projects they may need done.

Excellent service, could not be happier. Jules was easy to reach during the entire project and his teams were incredibly professional. Any additional work that was needed that wasn't included in the original contract was not done without thorough conversation with us first. They were punctual, clean, efficient yet thorough and just extremely pleasant. They didn't even mind our 2 year old supervising their work! Would happily recommend them and hope to have the opportunity to use them again in the future.

Jules and his team are responsive and pleasant to deal with. Their prices are good and the quality of their product is excellent. They provide meticulous attention to detail and are extremely conscientious. We had several replacement windows installed in our older victorian farmhouse. It looks amazing, the rooms are warmer and the windows are perfectly in keeping with the style and tone of our home. There was no mess and hardly any noise during the whole process ...quite amazing actually. I would use this company in the future would definitely recommend them to others. We have used Jules in the past for other work and the results were the same.

Brought men over to do the work and left. Too small & Thin pieces of wood had to be put on the sides. Never came back to check the job and the windows look great but air leaks in all around the windows.

Despite the size of the job he treated me as if it were a big job. He was excellent. On-time, on budget, and professional.

Jules Poirier's company does excellent work. This is the third time we have used them and are extremely pleased. We have no hesitation recommending them. A few years ago, we had them replace a small part of our roof that was leaking. They did a great job then, and were our choice to replace the rest of the roof this year. Jules himself comes out to inspect and quote the job. Our neighbors, who also are having their roof replaced this summer, got three quotes and confirmed that Jules Poirier's was the best and most thorough. The work itself went very well. Since they knew what part of our roof had already been replaced, they worked around that, saving us money. They completed the job in the time frame they specified -- just about a week. The work was good quality. The only additions beyond the quoted price were extras we initiated, plus replacing two pieces of rotten plywood, which of course could not be seen until the two old layers of shingles had been removed. The crew was careful, respectful, and very hard working. They did our roof at the height of the heat wave in absolutely brutal conditions. But they were all there every day, working at full tilt. Their only request after a few days was to start work at 6:30am rather than 7am so they could end a little earlier when the temperatures got close to 100 degrees. They also dealt with the hornet nests behind our shutters. The crew cleaned up fairly well during the week, and did a good job cleaning all debris at the end. They were careful to protect our plantings, which wasn't easy, given the configuration of our house. Jules worked with us on finding inventive solutions to skylight holes that no longer were standard size, installing one skylight in a tricky part of the roof, and getting the right kind of controls for the main skylight, which is high up and hard to reach. He also arranged for a "clean" worker (not one who had been up and down on a hot, dirty roof all day) to do the finish work on the inside.

They did great. He has a wonderful crew. They were considerate about noise and privacy and worked around my schedule. I really appreciated the consideration and they cleaned up and the windows are great.

Jules was extremely prompt in returning my initial call and treated this job with the utmost professionalism even though it was a small job. He was able to work with me in scheduling and even bumped up the timing to facilitate my house painters schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

The company gave a reasonable estimate and did quality work. They are very professional and are skilled with all exterior work such as siding, gutters, and roofing. I've hired them before and will do so again.

The company was great. The showed up on time every day ready to work and worked hard all day. The installers were very experienced and it showed in their workmanship. The job site was kept clean. Overall I am very happy.

They did a terrific job! They listened to me as the customer. They were very prompt and cleaned up after they were done. They followed up after the job was done to make sure everything was okay with us. He also helped us out with other things besides windows. He was very, very good. He was very personable and listened well.

Service from start to finish was prompt and professional. They replaced all the windows in one day. My only complaint is that the inside window trim was a in worse shape than I thought it would be, but we were warned.
