I trusted Jake, was going to do 5 shrubs, rake the lawn, take away 2 items ALSO, edge flower beds....clean behind shed..rake and asked him to cut down small shruds around fence. Well my back was In pain so didn't check what was done..promised the world. Price kept going up and work wasn't done. I have a postage stamp yard. He charged me $1200.00!! For a job not done. Talks a good game...everyone wants me to report him to BBS. Still thinking about it.. also, I am a senior citizen feel I was taken advantage of..find someone else especially if your a senior..

I would leave zero stars if I could. Non-responsive, price gouging, useless, nonsense at a premium. Go anywhere else!

Instead, he went there, the tenant let him in, he did the work, and had the tenant give him a check for his work. We don't even know if the work was done honestly. We have been calling him for the last 3 weeks with no avail for an invoice. He never called her to give an estimate or get authorization from the landlord. He just went and worked directly with the tenant and had him give him a check. Now the tenant is refusing to pay his rent. And we have been asking him for 3 weeks to give an invoice and when I called this morning, he just hung up. The situation is we think he refuses to send the invoice is because he did not do the work and he knows he did the wrong thing. The tenant was never authorized to allow him to do the work and it is $329.27. There is know acknowledgment of any work, no calls, there was never invoice. There's no proof that he did the work. I don't know if there is an issue with tax fraud because generally contractors have to show tax and we honestly do know what the situation is.
