This was such a horrible experience. I spoke to Luis nearly a month ago. He was recommended to me by one of my plumbers, Justin, who told me that Luis is a high-end luxury tile expert. This was exactly what I was looking for, as I own an interior design business, njdesign.com. Luis initially said he would be coming out in about a week and a half. However, the week of our scheduled meeting, he explained that he had gotten a job out of state that he was really looking forward to, which meant he couldn’t meet the timeline. I was very understanding, as you can see in the images below. I let him know it was fine to reschedule once he got back. As per our conversations, Luis rescheduled for this past Saturday (as you can see from the messages). However, he never showed up. I am extremely disappointed because I’ve had numerous poor experiences with contractors, which I explained to him. Unfortunately, it seems that Luis is no different from the others. I’ve recently reached out to others in my area who have had work done by him, and we all plan to leave reviews about this experience. It’s very disappointing to see a company maintain a five-star rating based on pure lies. As you can see from my messages to him below, he never responded. I believe I have every right to question his integrity and business practices, especially since he had me do a portion of the job with my plumber and never followed through on his end.

Excellent work - a difficult job completed in less than a day.

I initially met with Larry who came to the house to get a better idea of the work to be done and to draw up an estimate which turned out to be quite accurate. Larry made recommendations about particular projects and seemed well-informed. After some scheduling difficulties, it went quite well. Larry and his son Brandon were both very pleasant and professional. They worked quickly and neatly, cleaned up after themselves and did quality work. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to a friend.

I have had hired Larlin's Home Improvement twice and was satisfied with the work performed both times. Brandon from Larlins came out and was professional, punctual and cleaned up after the work was performed. The email communication I received regarding pricing and scheduling was clear and concise. I felt comfortable having the worker in my home and was satisfied with the work done.
