Great! Paul came to identify places where we had some mouse activity, and he also sealed up places where they had the opportunity to get into the house. After placing traps, he came by a week later to find some of the ones that had come into the house and take them away :) will definitely hire him again if I have any issues!

Well he was thorough lioked throughout the entire property, made auggested and advised on what to do and how to do it, listened to our concerns, answered our questions clearly. Great experience.

Excellent Service!! I had birds living in my bathroom vent. Paul was able to remove the baby birds with care. He also removed the nest which had the worse smell. I would recommend Paul to anyone that needs animal removal and other services that he performs. Thanks for a smooth and great experience.

All went as predicted and it seems to have gone well.

Paul came out on a Sunday and worked his magic. Not sure how or what he did, but the mouse/mice are gone! He said he inspected the entire foundation and lower area of the house inside and out, and he patched the areas where they were getting in. Wow! Mice can get in through such little spaces, I wasn't sure that was going to work. The next week he sent out one of his guys to pick up traps, check on things, and see if I was having any problems. The mice were gone. All gone. No pesticides, no danger to my pets or my grandchildren--outstanding!! I have waited a couple of weeks to write this review because I really couldn't believe it, but there are still no mice! Not only would I hire them again (though I hope I won't have to), I am recommending them to anyone and everyone I know.

They were really nice and did a good job.

We had a lot of mouse noise inside the walls and evidence of mouse droppings. I had caught about 10-12 mice but we needed to know how they were getting into the walls so I bought the $199 Big Deal on Angie's List for the Whole Home Mouse Trapping by Atbay. Chris came promptly as scheduled and did a full inspection outside and inside, including the attic. He saw the mouse droppings and also showed me one 1/4" dropping from the attic that he said was a bat dropping. We had no prior indications of bats in our attic. He printed out a lengthy legal contract that he said stated he would do a ground level prevention (sealing-up the entry points) for $700 and he could do an upper level prevention (inside attic and upper exterior) for an additional $1,800 for a total house prevention cost of $2,500. However, they could only give us a warrantee if we bought the $2500 total house protection since mice and bats could come in either location. Since we had no prior indication of bats, and the additional cost of the upper level, we only took the ground level package and thus no warrantee. Chris then set about 35 mouse traps around the house. He came back the following week and found one trapped mouse and then spent several hours patching garage doors, sealing a pipe entering the basement and sealing other possible lower entrances around the house. Only one trapped mouse has been found since...although the noises are still in the walls! And we have no warrantee due to the "limited" work done.

A lot of it was limited unless they would do like a real prevention. They couldn't look everywhere so deeply. It went well. It was pretty simple. I didn't really love the appointment system because they forgot to show up and all that. I wasn't thrilled with that. But then, they came another day and it was fine. He was a nice guy and he seemed knowledgeable. He was good. They did not charge more. Their timing and professionalism wasn't so impressive. They were supposed to give me a quote for all the work. I don't even know if they ever actually gave me one. But it sounded like it was going to be high. They could be more responsive. They could provide a quicker response and show up in a timely manner. They should be able to offer more during the consultation. More information could have been given on my problem.

I contacted the company through Angie's List to fix a mouse problem in my house. I bought a special deal through AL to get the work done. After Chris came to my house, did the inspection, and pointed out what needed to be fixed, he doubled the price, saying that the AL price I had paid was for inspection only, not fixing. This was not at all clear at the time I purchased the deal. I had already invested quite a bit of money, so I felt I had no choice but to pay the new amount to get things fixed. I could have used another Angie's List company for mouse inspection and paid quite a bit less than I did to Atbay LLC. Update 4-20-16: I have a dead mouse in my basement, less than a year after the ground-level "mouseproofing." I called the company to complain. I reminded Paul that I had a warranty on the work, and he tried to wiggle out of the company's responsibility, saying that I would be charged for someone to come out again. He finally said that if this was something they missed last year, I wouldn't be charged, but if this was a new entry point, I would be charged. So much for a warranty. We talked once and set up an appointment but I had to change it. I have since left messages, but my calls have not been returned.

Chris seemed very knowledgeable and efficient. It seems expensive but so far it is worth it. Only problems were with communication. Several times, I thought Chris or Paul would be in touch with me to make appointment or send proposal, but I had to call them to find out what was going on. No big deal.

After my evaluation, I expressed strong interest in pursuing the recommended service (~$1800 of work based on the in-person ballpark he gave me), and he said he'd follow up with an estimate and timing within a few days. Four months later, and I haven't heard from the company. No estimate, no work done, not even a courtesy phone call to say they weren't interested in my business. I'll have to pay another company to do the same evaluation, which delays the project even further. This is one of my first Angie's List purchases, so really disappointed in the experience and lack of professionalism.

I feel like the guy just looked around. He was only here 10 minutes and said everything looked good, but he recommended a $400 service in the future where he would block the gutters etc. so mice couldn't get in.

Requested an estimate for rodent-exclusion/trapping for our newly-purchased 3600 square foot home. Our cleaning crew had removed basement insulation as well as insulation from a utility closet, which uncovered signs of rodent infestation. Paul responded quickly and sent Chris to inspect the home. Chris was very professional, knowledgeable, and provided a thorough weekend inspection and on-the-spot estimate. He was able to begin work on the same day and explained that the work would take several visits to complete due to the size of our home. After the initial inspection, Chris walked us around to explain findings and solutions. He also uncovered structural items that our home inspector had missed. He has one more visit to complete but so far, the seal seems to have excluded any additional rodents. We have found any mice in the traps since the last visit. Next visit to be conducted in the spring. Very happy with the service thus far. Will definitely recommend them to others. Thanks Paul and Chris!

We were trapping mice in the attic several times a week, at worst and a couple of times a month at best. We have not found evidence of mice in the house since they were here.

Paul visited to review the house, check all areas of possible entry, set traps and explain the job. He was a very soft spoken, sincere man who immediately came across as trustworthy and competent. A week later he came again to remove the traps, set nets where animals could leave and not return, and did work around the foundation to plug entry ways, returned again to complete the job. He made a lot of long drives from his business address to Tolland. I chose him to begin with because most of the exterminators seemed to deal with bees and roaches and critters were at the bottom of their list, whereas rodents and the like were the the mainstay of his business. (Though he did indicate that as he went around the foundation he would take care of any bees if he came across nests.) He also gave me some tips on how to deal with underground yellow jackets which I get every year. It is hard for me to evaluate the "price" aspect of something like this but my sense is that it was very reasonable. I already have a friend who is likely to contact him.

Paul does a great job. He is very pleasant and easy to work with. He responded promptly to our questions and was prompt, neat and performed the work quickly and carefully. He is knowledgeable and patient in explaining what he was going to do. we would highly recommend him to anyone with bats or squirrels entering their homes.
