Very good and quick install.

The employees who installed my system were very professional, and quick for the work they perfromed. They routed the air through an attic space to prevent having an ugly pipe sticking out of my home at no extra charge. Others who provided estimates wanted to charge extra. Although they installed a new water system, they had a problem with a factory item. They came back the next day with a new unit.

They were very professional, and worked out the best and least obtrusive route for the system. They were easy to work with and explained everything that they were going to do before they started. They showed me what to look for in the basement to make sure the system is working and where the shutoff switch is in the attic. From the basement to the roof there was no mess and nothing overlooked.

A&R was very responsive to our questions got back to us promptly with a quote. Due to snow they had to reschedule our appointment, but they came right out as soon as possible. Their work was excellent and we really appreciated that they left us with a radon test to allow us to test and make sure the system worked (which it did, with flying colors).

Excellent on time everything done

A and R Environmental was recommended to us by friends who have a construction business. They did not disappoint! Jordan came out to install a radon air system in the house we were in the process of purchasing. He was right on time and was very kind and professional. He determined where the best place for the system would be so it would not be intrusive and would be inconspicuous. He worked very diligently in order to finish without taking up a lot of our time. He did a beautiful job. Once it was done he set up a radon test and came back a few days later in order to check to make sure the system was working properly, which it was. We had a choice of several companies to use, most of which were less expensive, but we decided to go with A and R because of their good reputation, warranty, and professionalism. We highly recommend them.

When I contacted Aand R, I spoke with Sandy. We corresponded back and forth by phone and email. All of my questions about installation were answered and she even sent pictures as examples of radon installations. Sandy was extremely helpful. Aand R specializes in putting radon systems within the structure so all you see is the pipe going out above the roof line. Our system begins in the basement, goes up the inside of the garage wall to the garage attic and out the garage roof. A 12 inch pipe comes out the garage roof. An electrician along with a technician were sent to install the system. Josh and Davis installed the system and were terrific. They arrived between the schedule time of 9 and 10 and were complete and cleaned up everything within 2 hours. Included in the cost is a follow-up radon test and you receive a written report. My husband and I are extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Aand R Environmental.

We discovered that we had a radon reading of 11.4 ppm with an acceptable level of only 4.0 ppm. I joined Angie's List to find a qualified company in my area to learn what could be done. I chose A and R Environmental with a A rating based on several positive reviews. I called Aand R and spoke to a very knowledgeable young lady about where radon comes from, it's cancer effect on health issues and how to get rid of it. She explained in detail the mitigation process, the system itself and the cost of installation. That was on a Tuesday. An appointment was made for the following Thursday at 1:00 pm. The crew showed up on time and we decided on a location in the house to put the equipment. It took only three and a half hours start to finish. The system was installed, the house was cleaned of any debris and I was given a thorough explanation of the system and what to monitor. I can't say enough for Angie's List and the great people at A and R Environmental for their professionalism.

Called company based on Angie's list ratings. I received a complete discription of Air Radon Mitigation methods, Standards required, and Aand R's prices. Also told Aand R is certified for both air and water Radon mitigation services and equipment. Price includes repeat Air Radon Test(started immediately after their installation. Team of certified installers arrived(Aand R employees, not indepent contractors) promptly. They answered multiple questions before and after installation. Complete explanations given after installation about equipment, when to call, etc. Very impressed overall; personnel (including offce staff) professional patiently answering questions. Receptionist (or office employee) provided reference to National/ International standards organization so I could evaluate. Promptly reported repeat test results. Note: EPA standards which were listed at the bottom of results report based on 'average Radon Level' from all home living areas: Repeat test only done in a finished basement room, NOT on Main level or Second floor level.

THE RESULTS CAME OUT EXCELLENT UNDER 1. BEFOR THEY DID THE WORK THE GAGES WHERE ABOVE FIVE. I AM GOING TO HAVE THEM DO MY HOUSE. THEY WHERE SO GOOD.

They gave me a good understanding of how it works. I also purchased a testing kit to verify that the levels were reduced and the results were within the safe levels.
