"Juan responded quickly on a Sunday afternoon. He was very knowledgeable and fixed the broken part. Fortunately, Juan had the part in his truck and was able to get my furnace working again. The service was impeccable! However, the weekend rates are expensive the service cost me $699 for installation of a $70 part. The 2-hour service call was $500 ($249 per hour)."

My name is Tom Mull of Mull Bros. Oil, a family-owned heating and cooling company in Wethersfield, Connecticut, where I was born and raised. There’s no doubt that you have seen many changes with the heating oil industry in the past decade or so. While many companies have given up or, out of desperation, have changed their business philosophies, we intend to be here for a long time. As a matter of fact, we’ve been around for over 60 years. My father, Bill Mull, started this company in 1945. At a time when stove-oil was in great demand and #2 fuel was being introduced as a home-heating fuel, Bill decided to get in to the delivery business. In the early 1950’s many oil burners were being installed on coal furnaces. Being mechanically inclined, Bill learned the art of installing and servicing the many styles of oil burners and heating systems.

"Our split unit air conditioner was under performing. Paul performed a thorough inspection of the system. During the process he used his experience and state of the art testing equipment. He kept us informed of his findings and also explained how to consider solutions. The issue turned out to be a build of of pollen and dust deep inside the wall unit. He opened it up and removed every component carefully cleaning each surface and crevice. Paul is very personable and considerate. He took precautions to protect our wall and flooring. Eric and his company did a great job on installing the two system in my house. Very professional and fair price for the work they did. I'm very pleased and will be looking to get them to install a ductless hvac system in the near future."
