Jim is absolutely amazing. He showed up on time both days and got straight to work. I was extremely impressed with his work and he made everything look like new again. Not only was his work extremely professional, his pricing was great too. I bid him up against 3 other contractors and his pricing was the best. Sometimes going with the lowest bidder can be dangerous because, "you get what you pay for". But that wasn't the case with Jim. I got great work at a great price. I would use Jim again in a heartbeat and would recommend him to anyone.

We are extremely dissatisfied with the service that we received from Affordable Maintenance and Repair. They were two DAYS late for our project, and instead of adjusting their schedule to have the appropriate time to do our job they pushed a week project into 3 days. They did not finish everything on the estimate, and what they did do was horribly executed. We have paint transfer everywhere as they did not tape. So we now have ceiling paint all over our walls and vice-versa. We have also spent a significant amount of time getting paint off of light fixtures, tile, the fridge, the oven, and trim. We have paint streaks running down our 100 year old wood trim, there are many areas that were so poorly painted that you can see the old paint through the new. We had new wainscoting installed which is popping off of our walls, was never painted, and you can see all of the nails and caulking. They installed a closet with walls that don't meet our original walls or floors so there are large unsightly gaps that make it look unfinished. The also "repaired" our walls but did not match the texture so we have large areas with obvious patches. Now we have gone for days with no response trying to have them come out and finish our project. Very disappointed and upset at this point. We would never recommend this company to anyone.

I have used him 5 or 6 times. He has 23 years of handyman experience. He shows up on time, responsible, affordable. I will continue to use him in the future as well. He also picks up supplies for you so that you do not have to go out. He is like a rare breed that you look for when searching for a handyman.
