Description of Work: Erica is a designer. That is, you pay a flat fee for a remodel design, including layout, a list of materials, tile selection, and installation contractor selection. If you approve of the design then you pay for materials, installation, etc. She knows bathrooms and tile. My job was a tub replacement, including plumbing fixtures and tile selection. I did go with her design and moved forward with materials and installation. There is a surplus of remodel jobs in the Fraser valley and several installation contractors bailed but the overall design was excellent.

Description of Work: Recently we purchased a vacation condo in Fraser, CO which required a complete remodel. The contractor company we selected for our remodel, Spectrum Home Services, recommended we call Erica Kalkofen for assistance with paint color coordination as well as overall project management of the remodel---as we live 700 miles away. Erica works very well with a remote customer. Upon contacting her, she went onsite to our condo, took pictures and suggested color palattes for our unit based upon the existing furniture and colors that I told her I liked. We arranged for an in person appt on our next visit, and Erica was prepared with flooring & tile samples as well as colors for various walls. Besides providing color design, we purchased our granite countertops, flooring and carpeting from Erica. She supervised the entire installation of these items and worked directly with the contractor company to manage timelines, suggested changes needed, and overall layout reccommendations. She and our contractor had a great working relationship and worked together effectively to create the best solutions for our remodel. I felt she was providing great advice based upon my tastes and budget. Throughout the project, she would email/MMS progress pictures of the remodel which was so helpful.
