Jim came out to look at our house and gathered some information. I feel that Jim did not just try to sell us a system. He took time to answer my questions and explain the benefits and drawbacks to all of the options he presented. He left and later that day he emailed a quote with several options that we had talked about. All of the options listed the available Xcel Energy, city and Lennox rebates. Their all "in price" even before the rebates was the same price or less than the what other companies were quoting after rebates. After deciding to use them, Jim came back out to get measurements and other information to make sure the units he quick quoted were correct. He left and later that day sent me the final quote. (nothing changed) We decided to go with the top of the line units. There was only $1500 difference from the 96% to the 98% efficient furnace option.We purchased the Lennox Signature Series 25 SEER A/C and 98% variable speed Furnace. We signed the bid and set the date. They handled the building permit and all of that. They called me around 8am so I could meet and let them in to do the install. They were on time, I was late. They Immediately put on booties, laid tarps down on the stairs and started to work. They listened to our concerns and questions about the install, particularly about the venting and where it would be run. I left and went back to work. When I returned home from work I had just walked in and they called me to let me know they were just about finished for the day. The a/c and furnace were installed and operating. They tested the a/c and ran the heat load test necessary for one of the rebates. The venting choice they made was perfect. They showed me the thermostat and made sure I understood how it worked and had me setup the wifi to use more of the functions . I asked them about the humidifier functions and the tech said they missed that on the work order so they did not bring one to install. They let me know they had to come back to seal my ducts and said they would install it at that time. I gave them payment in full and they left. Their office set an appointment to seal the ducts and install the humidifier the following week. They filed all of the rebate paper work. The day after the initial install I received confirmation from Lennox that my rebate was in process, the day after that the Energy Works and Xcel rebate "papers" were emailed to me to sign. I was again called at 8am and was told they were on there way, this time I got home a couple of minutes before them. They again started immediately, I went back to work. They called when they were almost done so I could let them out and go over the humidifier. Two days later I had the city building inspector come to do the final inspection, he signed off on the permit and were are done. They were very personable and professional. Overall the experience was great and so far we are happy with our choice. I would highly recommend American Air Heating & A/C to anyone looking for furnace or a/c replacement. From our experience I am sure they can also handle service work without issue.

They worked with us on price so were very competitive price wise. The install went great. The team communicated with us throughout the day and they did an awesome job!

Jim was able to work with my crazy schedule and found a time that worked for us both. The installers were in and out in about 5 hours and if I didn't see them, i would almost not even know they were there. The install is clean and done well, they even work directly with some of the rebate companies so I don't have to worry about that.

Excellent service. Decent price, although it is still fairly expensive. Great job all around.
