See above. Overall this was not a pleasant experience.
Description of Work: A company representative (Diego) came to my door and wanted to schedule a roof inspection. I bit. He had a card, and the company was listed on Angie's List. The roof was inspected by a rep (Russ) who told me I had extensive hail damage to roof and gutters. I told him I would have my Travelers' Adjuster take a look, and he asked to be present. I called Russ and spoke directly to him three days prior to my insurance inspection. I called him again when the Travelers' adjusted arrived three days later. Russ did not show. He did not call. The insurance adjuster found less than 500 dollars wind damage. No hail damage to gutters or roof. No calls from Rocky Mountain Reconditioning. I am a Senior Citizen. Was I being scammed? I do not know, but I do know that this company will not get my business if and when I do have legitimate hail damage.

These gentleman showed up at our doorstep to do a free roof inspection. We decided for them to go ahead and complete it since our house had just hit the 10 year mark. What I liked is they came down and showed us pictures of the roof and pointed everything out to us. It was due to these pictures, I could get a clear understanding of our roof and the work that needed to be completed. Here is where my only compliant would lie. We went ahead and got insurance involved to put in a claim to cover the roof repairs. Sadly, in our city, the missing shingle area was just under the required square footage for the insurance to cover it and thus was under our deductible amount. I wish that the roofers weren't so confident we could get our home insurance to cover this repair and understood the code better so this would not have occurred. The good news is due to this they went ahead and gave us a good sized discount to get the required work done and immediately put a covering on our roof to prevent any water damage in the meantime. The work was completed in a timely manner and the roofers were in decent communication while finishing up the project. We would recommend this company to others due to their professional attitude, response time and how they tried to fix their own errors.

We were not planning a roof replacement but their employee was canvassing our neighborhood and offered to take a look and give us an estimate. He was sure we had enough damage to get insurance coverage for wind damage. RMR employee Derek was very helpful in working with the insurance adjustor to ensure that he saw all the damage. Once we had insurance approval he helped us selected new shingles and we got HOA approval. I was glad that Derek was knowledgable about what our HOA would approve. Scheduling was a little more chaotic. I was under the assumption that we would let them know once we got HOA approval so we could schedule a date. Instead they scheduled a date and called the night before to confirm and we did not yet have approval. They said they would reschedule but never let us know when that new date was. Instead, they just showed up one morning to work. It happened to be a day that I never would have approved. But in the end it worked out okay. The work took 2 days to complete. The crew did a good job of cleaning up but we did find a handful of nails for a few days afterward. The crew left behind some extra shingles, nails and other supplies. When I mentioned it to Derek he made sure they were removed quickly. My one complaint is that payment method was not clearly communicated. We received a check from insurance which we deposited so we could pay with our preferred credit card. We learned AFTER the work was done that they only accept check, not credit card. In the end we paid via PayPal using our card but it was a difficult process to get that sorted out. For the remainder of payment, RMR is working to bill the insurance company. Overall, the work was done well but service was not outstanding.
Description of Work: Replaced entire roof.
