The project went very well, from the initial meeting until completion. All staff are professional through and through.

DMD Windows did exceptional work installing our new windows; completely professional and excellent workmanship. The team is communicative and honest. They go above and beyond and I would (and do) recommend them to anyone looking for high quality product and work. These people are pros; you do not have to second-guess what they are doing, and they do their job with integrity. I love our new windows!

Received three in-home estimates, an estimate from Lowe's, and an estimate from Home Depot. While not the cheapest, DMD was not the most expensive, either. We purchased a Pella Designer French Sliding Door with built-in mini-blinds. From the time we ordered the door to the time it was installed took just over five weeks. We love the door, and it has eliminated a draft. The DMD staff was professional and the installation was excellent. Provided two before photos and two after photos. We plan to replace another exterior door in the near future and we will be calling DMD again.

DMD did an amazing job from start to finish. Lindsey was our sales person. She came out 3 times before we hired them to do the work. She was prompt, patient and professional. She gave us lots of good ideas on which type of windows we should put where. We did Pella windows and Anderson doors. All of which are great quality and look beautiful. She worked with us through the entire project, answering questions and even coming to the house a couple times to trouble shoot. The install team, Eric and a couple other guys, did an equally amazing job. They were also prompt, courteous and professional. They cleaned up every day and were very respectful of our time and our home. There were a couple punch list items at the end of the job. Mike came out and fixed things right away. It took a couple visits but they communicated through the whole process and let us know what to expect. There was even an issue with scratches on one of the sliders. None of us knew how they got there. Lindsey took care of it and got us new glass installed at no cost to us. Very good customer service and communication throughout our entire experience with DMD. I would use them again and have referred them to several friends and neighbors. I was very appreciative to have worked with them on what could have been a stressful project!

It was for a big deal for $1,199.00 for a Pella Encompass Sliding Patio Door, Including Installation. There was no extra charges. I called them about something and they did not call me back.

I selected DMD Builders after getting quotes from more than 6 windows installers. DMD Builders were very professional. They helped me choose a good windows product. They answered all my questions about the windows and the installation process. Their windows installers were very skilled and did an excellent job. I had 12 windows replaced at my house. They arrived on time and completed the project on time.

We are very pleased with the results and DMD. Lindsay's follow up and attention to detail was exceptional! The installation crew of Chad, Alex and Kevin did an outstanding job! We will use DMD again!

We had DMD intall a bay window for us in the 80's and were so pleased with the results. Needing to place windows and doors, I was delighted to see they were still here. Again, Bill was most accommodating and and responded to questions in a timely manner. Chad, Alex and Kevin came to demo and replace 2 sliding glass doors and several windows. Their work ethic and teamwork was unbelievable. I HIGHLY recommend DMD for any work you may want done.

It took two separate crews, one to replace the double slider and another for the rest. Both crews were very courteous and professional. I know just enough about construction procedures to be dangerous, but I do know quality work when I see it. Both crews were obviously well trained and skilled. The work was done quickly and neatly and both crews cleaned up after themselves and in fact I felt cleaned more than just the mess they had made. We are very happy with the work and if needed, I would definitely hire DMD again.

They gave me two quotes - one for fiberglass and one for a composite. My own research indicated that the I could find better windows and warranties for lower prices than the two brands they were offering. Their service was excellent, and they were NOT "high pressure". I had a very pleasant experience with them, and would recommend them, but I went with other windows based on window quality and price. My choice had nothing to do with DMD.

Although they are very busy, they did a wonderful job. Plan ahead and schedule early. I thought the work crew did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day. They were very efficient and respectful. They did an excellent job of keeping us informed each day of how things were going and the plan. The new windows look great and we love how much better insulated they are.

Precise estimates of what was needed and the price. Installation was completed in 2 days. Results were even better than we could have hoped for. If you want Pella windows or doors, DMD Builders is the only reliable company we could find to work for a fair price in Summit county. DMD did a great job from start to finish! Everyone showed up on time everyday. They were courteous, and very clean! I could not have asked for a better experience!

They showed up on time to give us an estimate and were punctual throughout. The workers were here before 8 each morning so that we could get to work and cleaned up the job site each evening. For punching a hole through our dining room wall, it was a pretty unobtrusive job. They even came on a Saturday to finish up the trim work.

We were interested in having 10 to 12 windows installed due to a leaky window. The leak may have been caused by failed wood product siding and we were also seeking an opinion as well as an estimate. On 6-21-16, Tami came out, looked at the siding and windows and thought the problem was the siding. Our opinion is that she is correct. We asked her to measure the windows in case we decided to get them. She did that and gave us two brochures on vinyl windows. Tami was at our house a total of a half hour and made no attempt to sell us windows. She only gave us info on the warranties of the two window companies she recommended. On June 29th, we emailed her and asked her for a quote on Amerimax windows. Right away, she emailed us a quote and also immediately called us. While on the phone with her, we noted that we could not download the PDF, so she said she would text it to us on our phone which she did. It was readable, but was difficult to decipher due to the small size. We needed a copy we could print out and read the entire thing at one time. Tami states she did not want to email it as it could be changed. We found that comment insulting. On July 5th, a Tuesday, we asked for prices on double hung windows as well as a paper copy sent by the USPS or a PDF we could download. She responded the next day and said she would send them on Friday. On July 8th, she did email the revisions in a PDF that we could not again open. We emailed her again on July 8th and asked her via email for a paper copy we could easily read. As of today, July 16th, we have not had a response via email, telephone or snail mail. Time is of the essence now as we are quickly approaching winter and it could take a couple months to get the windows made after the HOA approves the window changes. We are moving on out of frustration and now lack of trust and will hire another window contractor. From our encounters with Tami, we get the impression she is either has too much to do and not enough time or her company is poorly managed as other reviewers have suggested. Perhaps they need to hire more staff ? Another possibility is that the window quote is two low and they just don't want to proceed. The quote was for $7230 for 11 windows minus $65 trim for 9 windows and Tami agreed to this. The siding company is going to install James Hardie trim instead. Maybe they choose to be unresponsive instead of admitting a mistake.

After getting bids from 6 different companies we picked DMD Window to do the work and it sure was the right choice for us. We picked the Amerimax window which is made close by in Loveland CO. They built the large bay window on site which I liked, none of the other contractors were going to do that. Lindsay was just great with everything. The crew was the best. We are very very pleased with everyone and everything.

I contacted DMD Window and Door to replace three basement windows at my home. Tami Blum came to my house to discuss the project and provide details regarding the available options and recommendations. Tami was excellent to work with, professional and knew the products well. I chose to go with DMD after obtaining three other estimates in my home and few others online. The price was excellent and very competitive. Chad came out to obtain measurements and was similarly great to work with, friendly, professional and prompt. Installation was estimated for mid-February and was performed on time. The installers were excellent and did great work. They were professional, easy to work with, very considerate and efficient. Cleanup was top notch. I have hired several trades through Angie's List for my basement remodel and overall found them to be very good. DMD Window and Door was top notch and I strongly recommend them window and door work.

The installation was professionally done and the windows are very good quality. The representative (Tami) was patient with delays in my decisions, because I was often unavailable. However, the numbers & designs she supplied were often in error and she was slow to follow up. Although DMD offers a discount, they require payment by check or money order, which effectively reduces the discount by half.

The great thing about DMD is having a choice of window manufacturers. Lindsay was amazing and knew all the specifications for the windows we were considering. She helped steer us toward a product that would meet what we were looking to achieve in each section of the house with new windows. We ended up going with multiple Pella products, which took a little longer than anticipated, but turned out to be worth the wait. Eric did the installation and, WOW, his skill is incredible. We are very impressed with how the windows and doors look. Lindsay was frequently on site to make sure things were going smoothly. She was prompt in returning calls and following up on outstanding items. We will definitely use DMD again should we decide to do further work.

They must be the best in the business! DMD Builders, Inc. did an outstanding job of replacing 17 windows in our home. The owner, Bill McFarlane, helped us select the most appropriate windows for our house and delivered quality work, on time, for the original price agreed upon. His carpenter crew was terrific. Eric Roush always had everything under control and is a master craftsman. When one window did not quite match the opening, he quickly offered us three options including one that expanded the opening, giving us a better end product than we could have imagined. Eric and his crew were fast, clean, and professional. The painters were in and out quickly and did a great job of matching our existing woodwork. When there was a minor issue with the operation of a couple windows, Bill himself came back with the manufacturer’s representative and the issues were immediately corrected to our satisfaction. Without hesitation, we would recommend DMD Builders (DMD Window and Door) to anyone thinking of replacing their windows and/or doors.
