Fine, arrived on time and helped me understand a few things needed to get my fireplace working.

The only reason for the B in the price grade was due to a difference in a quote I had received over the phone as apposed to the price after they came. The difference was due to the misunderstanding of the size of the chimney. They were prompt; I called them in the morning and they were here that afternoon completing the job.

Dean had to delay the appointment due to an emergency at another site earlier in the afternoon. He remained in constant communication and I knew exactly when to expect their arrival, which was refreshing! They were extremely efficient and very conscientious about keeping the work area clean. While Dean and staff were completing the work, they noticed damage to my roof vents. Dean took the time to explain the current condition and recommended a course of action to repair the vents and inspect the attic area for animals. Due to the high satisfaction with their work, professionalism and communication, I decided to use Chimney Sweeps for the subsequent work that needs to be done.

They were excellent! Dean, Jon and Chris made the service call and we were happy with what they did.

Very well. Dean and his son were prompt, did the work quickly and professionally, explained what they did and did not do and were pleasant about it all.

They were exactly on time. The guy told me that usually they clean chimneys from the outside down, and if he did that to mine, he'd have to remove the welds holding the tops on, so said I should instead get a vent cleaner to do it. But he said he'd check it out from the inside to see how it was. He looked up the chimney and said it was pretty good and I didn't really need to clean it yet. He also showed me that my damper was not broken, but was just hard to close (which he also said was good, because then it doesn't pop open sometimes, which some people have a problem with). So he didn't charge me a thing. It's wonderful to work with a company that is honest and has integrity.

Dean was prompt and performed the inspection quickly. He gave me a good explanation of what of his assessment and my possible options. He gave me an estimate for his end of the recommended work (sweep and new cement cap).

Mr. Greypens was able to come right away both times we called him and he did remove the animal. My only real complaints have to do with the fact that we did have to call him back because he did not get both animals the first time. Also I was able to see that his company offers a senior discount only by looking at he receipt he gave us on Sunday. He did not offer us the senior discount and when I asked for it on his Monday visit, he discounted that day's work and not the previous day's charges which I thought was a bit ungenerous of him. I thought the charges were high as the job was quick and straighforward and done in good weather. He seem annoyed that we asked for the senior discount at all.

Dean was very responsive from the first phone call and explained that his rates were higher than most because he did all his work to code, something we appreciated. He was punctual and professional for both the estimate and the work and was able to complete the job within a week from our first phone call. Work appears to have been done well and came out less than the estimate.

We were offered estimates for different ''phases'' of the work so we could budget how we did it. We chose to only take care of structural work at this time, but will definitely call them back when ready to fix the other chimney and make it ready for a gas insert. Both estimate appointment and work schedule were on time and we were offered a discount for paying with cash.

Dean was great! He is an easy guy to talk to and when he shows up he's ready to get the job done! We just moved from Florida where chimneys are rare so he gave us a lesson on the use and maintence of it.

Very professional crew. Adequately explained what needed to be done. Result was a chimney that was now usable; before repair it would have been a fire hazard. Very clean work, spotless.

ORIGINALLY BROUGHT CSA IN TO CLEAN FIREPLACE. THEY IDENTIFIED THAT OUR EXISTING CHIMNEY CAP WAS BREAKING DOWN, WHICH I VERIFIED MYSELF, AND THAT THE ANIMAL GUARD FOR THE CHIMNEY WAS MISSING. THEY REPLACED THE CAP AND GUARD THAT WEEKEND. HAD THE CAP COLLAPSED, WHICH IT LOOKED LIKE IT COULD AT ANYTIME, IT COULD HAVE RESULTED IN SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE INTERNALS OF THE FIREPLACE WHICH WOULD BE MUCH MORE COSTLY.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE CLEANING AND REPAIR OF MY CHIMNEY. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, FUN AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB WITH THE REPAIR. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.

I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO SHOP PRICES FROM DIFFERENT COMPANIES ON THE DAY THAT I FINALLY DECIDED TO TAKE CARE OF THIS JOB THAT I'VE PUT OFF FOR SEVERAL SEASONS. I HOPE THAT I GOT A COMPETITIVE PRICE FOR THE SERVICES I BOUGHT FROM THIS COMPANY. I THINK THE PRICE SEEMS TO BE A BIT HIGH FOR THE APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES OF WORK PERFORMED, BUT SINCE I DIDN'T SHOP, I DON'T KNOW. IT WAS A TIMELY, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS SERVICE THAT MET MY EXPECTATIONS.

THE SERVICE WAS GOOD - THE SCHEDULING WAS VERY ACCURATE - THE GUY SHOWED UP EXACTLY WHEN EXPECTED. HE WAS VERY CAREFUL NOT TO TRACK SOOT ONTO THE CARPET AS I HAVE OFF WHITE CARPET.
