The service was awesome. They were able to squeeze me in to get my chimney done on my house for sale before the quick closing date. The tech showed up early on the day of the appointment and was professional and quick. I would absolutely recommend them, providing you can write a check or the job is small. My only disappointment is that they charge a 3% fee to use a credit card. In this day and age, that was a bit of a surprise. While I was able to write a check for this appointment, I will probably use someone else for the recommended repairs. As a small business owner, I understand the credit card charges can be rough, but it's a cost of business.

Cade appeared to know what he was doing. Got there before I did which was maybe 5 min Pryor to the designated time. Before I got there he'd already been up on the roof ! He performed the service as specified. However, he claimed I needed a new fireplace because one of the firewalls was damaged due to over heating. He said he couldn't certify it after he inspected and cleaned it. It sounded reasonable. He showed me a replacement fireplace that they have in stock and said he could do the work. When he left he said he'd mail me an invoice that afternoon. I had to call 2 days later to get the invoice, and still no word about the cost and dimensions of the new fireplace that's in writing.

Excellent job! Our 28 year old original caps were poorly installed and falling apart. Jon promptly came out to assess our situation and give is a quote. Chimney Sweeps or A is not the cheapest, but is the best at what they do. Our new caps are much more durable than the originals. The install techs were professional, clean, and prompt.

Went great, did everything he said he would. On time, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Answered all my questions thoroughly and gave me confidence the Lock Top would fix the backdraft problem. So far so good!

The two-man team showed up on time and were polite and professional. They efficiently installed the cap and poured a cement rim around the top of the chimney (to stabilize the structure and increase functionality), returning a week later to remove the cement mould. The whole thing took less than two hours, the crew was very tidy, and the company honored the price quote I originally got back in the spring. Would highly recommend Chimney Sweeps of America and will give them a call the next time we need any chimney work done.

Jon was on-time for the appointment. I explained what needed to be done, and he did it quickly and efficiently. Something I did appreciate is that he took pictures of what he saw with his iPad so that he was able to show me and to help explain the recommendations he want to offer me. No nests were found and I chose not to do anything else at this time. I have not used a chimney sweep service recently and I thought an $85 service call to do the inspection was a bit high. But, I appreciated Jon's professionalism. Now I can use my fireplace without fear of starting a fire at the top of the chimney. I would recommend this service.

They responded very quickly after the storm to inspect my chimney and give me a written estimate. They scheduled the work on a weekend, which best accommodated my work schedule. They were prompt, reliable, and customer friendly. And they did a super job--the tuck-pointing is perfect and they made a beautiful Victorian style crown that looks great on my 1907 house. Mark even trimmed five tree branches for me that were too near my chimney and he did not charge me any extra! I highly recommend this company and plan to use them again in the future for any chimney and stove repairs or cleanings.

He was very thorough and checked my chimney and reported he could see down and observed there were no cracks or problems in the chimney. He was on time and courteous.

Fantastic job!! Over the course of the job, I worked with Mark, Jon (owner), and Jimmy (installation technician). All three men were professional, courteous, and responsive. Mark especially was patient with answering all my questions (several emails/phone calls) and was very responsive - I always received a response the same day I sent an email. Initially, we were on the path of repairing the chimney liner and keeping our (inefficient) fireplace intact. I enjoy the ambiance of actually seeing the fire and I was also concerned about an insert sticking out onto the hearth. Mark found an insert that has a very large viewing window and barely extends beyond the fireplace walls. Although we elected to not make an insurance claim, Jon indicated Chimney Sweeps of America has extensive experience identifying damage from chimney fires and working with insurance companies to complete repairs. On the day of installation, all three men arrived on time, and worked quickly and efficiently throughout the day. They cleaned up extremely well upon completion. The only minor snafu encountered was that I thought the day of installation was tentatively scheduled, while Chimney Sweeps of America obviously thought it was a hard date. I should have called to check in as the date approached. Chimney Sweeps of America's prices were in line with other companies, based on internet research and discussions with other providers.

Called them for an inspection of 1911 chimney that had not been cleaned since I bought house. Also wanted to get a quote for installing flue and make safe to burn. Quoted like 3k for repair. Did not use them due to price but they were good otherwise.

They rebuilt a damaged top to the chimney. This caused. Leak in the house but the damage is pretty small. They were punctual and professional! Great job guys.

The chimney sweep turned up on time, did what we had asked him to do, told us we didn't need to have it done every year, and fixed some very small cracks in the chimney wall. Total cost was exactly what we were told it would be- slightly higher than the "deal" that was going at the time because we live outside of Denver, so the transport stretch was longer, but we were told this in advance.

Jon, in the office gave a lot of information up front and was very easy to work with. Jon called several hours before my appointment to let me know that Trevor was running over on the job he was on and would it be okay if he was a little late. I liked that they called that far ahead. I realize that they cannot always estimate times because they run into problems like he did at my house. Trevor actually go here 15 minutes before I did because he made up some of the time. He called my home phone twice and was waiting outside for me. He repaired my broken dryer vent and moved the dryer to eliminate one of the bends to make it work better. He was prompt, courteous, fast working and neat. He answered all of my questions in an easy to understand way. I had a crack in the bottom of my fireplace and he explained to me how it could cause a fire. Really easy to understand. He is building me a new floor and will install it next week. For everything he did and will be doing, I think the price is very fair. I use Angie's List because I have had companies not treat me in a fair way, but never one from Angie's list with good recommendations.

Mark came in and was very professional, He gave me options to make my chimney more eco-friendly, and he made my gas fireplace look much nicer! He was efficient and knowledgeable but not pushy about the options we had to improve both our gas fireplace and our wood burning fireplace. He also found some issues with our chimney and was able to fix them on the spot. I was also pleased with the fact that he was able to email me information about improvements that I might be interested in, and he also took pictures while on my roof, so I could see what needed to be done to the chimney. Mark was honest and fair, and I will definitely be working with this company again.

Our technician, Mark, arrived punctually and was pleasant to deal with - polite, tidy and professional. Despite a snowstorm the previous day, Mark was able to thoroughly inspect and clean our chimney in about an hour. He gave us knowledgable, detailed information when we asked about future work (adding a cap or an insert) and wrote up everything in a legible report for our records. We were very happy with Mark and the customer support we received through Chimney Sweeps of America (available to take our calls, polite and professional on the phone) and would gladly recommend them to friends. Indeed, when we get around to adding the cap or insert to our existing fireplace, we'll be sure to call this company again.

The service was excellent. Not only was he very prompt every time he came, he was also very flexible as far as with scheduling. He was usually very accurate with his quotes, and his price was reasonable. I would recommend him.

This company cancelled two appointments with me in a two week span - both appointments cancelled the afternoon/night before the scheduled service because the person who was supposed to sweep my chimney had another project to do with their company. After the second cancellation, the message indicated someone would be answering their phone from 7pm to 9pm that evening to re-schedule the appointment, but when I called around 8pm, there was no answer.

The service went very smooth and I gained a ton of knowledge.

I used to Chimney Sweeps of America to do a chimney inspection during my home inspection when I bought my house. I used Dean's services after the purchase to have the chimney cleaned, and the storm collar resealed so the chimney wouldn't leak. I also asked Dean to clean out the dryer vent - about 25 feet of pipe - most of which was full. Dean went the extra mile to remove parts of the pipe in the crawlspace to see where it vented to the outside, and what needed to be done to get it clean. He did an amazing job all around, all for a very reasonable price and a nice guy to boot. We will be using Chimney Sweeps of America to do all our chimney work, and probably our gutter cleaning and dryer vent cleaning, too.

The man (dean) was a whirling dervish! Effecient, informative, and fully prepared. I plan to use him for all such services in the future.

Jon, arrived in a timely fashion, introduced himself and proceeded to work. He performed a quick visual inspection of the jobs he was to perform, and proceeded to the exterior to physically inspect the chimney area on the roof. He worked efficiently and given the type of job he performed, was extremely consious of his surroundings, and got the chimneys cleaned with a minimum of dust and noise, He swept and cleaned out the firebox areas, and disposed of the contents. He also noted that the drier vent had elbows that were exceptionally clogged, and he removed and discarded that debris also. He wrote up a report outlining the problems he found during his inspection, and documented his findings with pictures. He recommended that the work he outlined be done as a saftey measure, as well as a structural integrity issue. As a senior citizen I did not feel any pressure to get the job done immediately, indicating Jon's professional approach, and knowledge of his profession. I would recommend the Denver Chimney Sweeps of America to anyone who has thought about having this vital job done, but has put if off for any reason. .

He is wonderful and the crew is very efficient, prompt and I give them an A. The price is very reasonable and I will use them again in the future.
