We had Chimney Sweeps of America come out to service, clean and inspect our wood stove and chimney. The service provider was on time, friendly, professional and thorough. We will use them again.

I was provided with pictures to show the before and after. When he cleaned the chimney he let me know we didn't have a chimney cap in place any more. He was able to install one before he left. The areas around the wood stove and the fireplace were cleaned up well enough you couldn't tell any work had been done.

The technician was knowledgeable, efficient, and very thorough. We will be using them to get our new chimney up to code and best working order.

They worked hard, very good response to questions, help with discount, installed very well, followed up on a few snags, and made sure I was satisfied. The end result is beautiful, a quality install. The fireplace is great. I highly recommend this company because the general manager, Mark Roberts, is extremely responsible about getting problems fixed properly and responds with exactly the right attitude, leaving a customer with the feeling they have been heard and the issue has been properly resolved. He also follows through to make sure the customer knows how to run the fireplace properly. Things that came up: snag in ordering delaying install by a week, delayed finishing because of problem getting an undamaged heat shield from a supplier, then heat shield was installed but was not satisfactory because the metal was too thin. Mark came to see the problem, removed the heat shield and had a better quality shield custom made locally. Once it was painted to match the fireplace and installed, I couldn't have been happier, great match, quality matched the fireplace. I am only describing this because it is important to know a company has great follow through for such a thing and does the right thing, rather than making the customer deal with it. One note: the finish work (fireplace surround, mantle re-installation, painting, etc.) is not part of their work. I had great people I scheduled myself to come in and do that work in between the installation and the finish work. But if you don't, the company will connect you with people to do it and schedule them for you.

Chimney was cleaned an a dead raccoon found in the flue. Then we had them seal the chimney since it is not used. They did a great job.

Great service. They evaluated the free-standing fireplace and the chimney from the roof. They were professional, spent time answering questions and making recommendations. They were honest and did not recommend work that did not need to to be done but set a timeframe to call them back. Highly recommend them.

They were running a little behind schedule but communicated this promptly and politely asked if it would be a problem. Service man was nice, efficient and did not leave any mess. He communicated the issues & showed us photos of the inside of chimney. We have an appointment to speak with rep about options for repairs. My only suggestion would be for the company to provide their serviceman with better method to take & view the photos, as he was having problems with his phone.

It was great. The serviceman was on time, and was able to determine there were no longer any animals in the chimney (except for the barbecued one in the fireplace! Oops!). He capped it, and gave me a thorough report about what was needed. He also cleaned my gutters as well! Honestly, I was pretty shocked when he told me the total (I thought it was pretty expensive!). But I was really pleased with the work, and very relieved NOT to have any animals crawling into my chimney any more! I would definitely call Chimney Sweeps again.

It was great. Was called a head of time to give me a heads up of when they would be arriving. Very pleasant, helpful and professional.

They removed it and capped off the Chimney for us to prevent future problems. Great service - they had to reschedule because of the weather but were very accommodating with the date to come back.

Excellent. Anthony was on time, professional, and took the time to explain everything he did and what to look out for. he showed me pictures of my chimney so i would not have to climb up there. Excellent service and i will use them again.

Set the appt to meet my schedule providing several options. Time of appt was 12n but Kade the technician called around 10 and said he was able to come earlier if that was OK and it was. He arrived as he said and was neat and professional. He went right to work cleaning and inspecting the chimney. He did a thorough cleaning and identified some problem areas that may need attention but did not try to do any upsell. He made some honest recommendations and identified cost estimates for future consideration. Very pleased with the technician and Chimney Sweeps. I have used them before and so have my neighbors. The price is reasonable and would definitely use again. Great deal with Angie's. Got my money's worth.

Anthong showed up ecactly on time and went straight to work. Very professional.Performed a thorough cleaning of all components.Took pictures before and after.Peformed a complete clean-up before he left and left the area spotless, which was important to me because of the rticts in the room where the stove is located.

Nice job. Very thorough and informative. They took pictures to show damage and conditions. They gave suggestions for improving the problem conditions found. They arrived when they said. Their work was excellent. Cleanup was thorough. No complaints. I would use them again with out any concerns whatsoever. They did a great job!!!

This company did an excellent job. I live in Texas and was preparing to sell my townhouse in Littleton, CO. It is under contract and the inspector put the chimney damper on the list of things to be repaired. He said that the damper was stiff or sticky. I called for several estimates and found that it was quite expensive to replace a damper ($525 and up). I was concerned about this because, living out of state, I could not be there when they came out to clean the chimney. Jon, the owner, went out. He cleaned the chimney and said that nothing was wrong with the damper. He said that it should be stiff in order to stay shut. He cleaned the chimney and damper and sent me pictures of the damper before and after it was cleaned. I really appreciate their honesty in dealing with an out of state owner! I highly recommend this company.

My wife and I were looking into doing a fire place conversion and over the phone Chimney Sweeps was incredibly helpful, open and honest about the project. They ultimately advised us not to move forward with the conversion - which shows a high degree of integrity given it meant lost revenue for them. Please bring them the business we couldn't!

It went great. They were a little backed up so it too about two weeks to get someone out, but that was to be expected since it was November in Colorado and everyone was rushing to get their chimneys swept before the first snow. The technician came out early and was done in about an hour. He did a great job and cleaned up afterwards very nicely. He recommend the caps and having had chimney work done before on previous houses and done the research I allowed him to install them. He also so recommend some work on the brick and took great pictures to explain exactly what was wrong. All of this was emailed to me in an easy to read and understand quote. Overall I was very pleased with the provider.

Swept the chimney and installed to chimney caps. Also quoted repair of the mortar and brick on top of the chimney.

We had a hail-damaged chase cover on our chimney, a contractor-grade metal cover that was leaking. After some research, we discovered it was not easy to find a company that does this type of work. We contacted Chimney Sweeps of America which was familiar with the work required. Mark, the estimator, showed up on time, measured and took pictures of the problem. He emailed an estimate with pictures of the work to be done. The work done by Kade included the new chase cover and support system which went well. After some heavy rain and snow, a leak was discovered. I called the company and Kade and a helper showed up within hours to diagnose and fix the leak. This type of work is not cheap, so be prepared. I would recommend this company for its knowledge and responsiveness.

Chimney Sweeps of America, Jon and Anthony, really came through for us a couple of weeks ago - dead something smell coming from fireplace. Couldn't get a return call from 3 other companies. When I reached CSA's scheduler (general manager Mark) late morning, he acknowledged my distress, got my address and phone, then called me back within 10 minutes to confirm that John would be at the house by 2 pm - John was there by 1 pm, already gets top marks for that! Jon and Anthony removed the adult female dead raccoon, used enzyme cleaner on chimney, fitted it for a wildlife screen and recommended a sealant coat on top of chimney. Anthony also did excellent job of vacuuming out the inside of chimney/fireplace from below. Now, if they could just find a product for the trauma-aftermath that didn't have such a sicky sweet smell. Lots of baking soda did diminish it, but hot/warm weather works best and of course we've had rain, snow and 40-degree days since then.

Called on christmas eve of all days to schedule an appointment. They called me back right away to schedule for following week. Technician was prompt and professionally dressed. It was a complete coincidence but he had been in the same building the prior week sweeping another unit as part of a condo sale. So he knew the building and described the roof to me so I believed him. Service was pretty fast - 45 minutes. He explained what he was doing and took pictures of the fireplace insides to show me everything. Afterwards, he cleaned up and we settled the bill by credit card without any surcharge. It was below zero that day and since he had been at the building recently I didn't ask him to go on the roof. Was pleased overall except that it seemed a bit pricey for about an hour of work all in. I'd use again though.
