Mark, Trisha and team worked fast to get out here and get us taken care ahead of our real estate closing. The techs did a great job getting the work done in a day. They explained the work well and left the job site clean.

Wonderful. He came on time. While I didn't climb up to see the final job, he showed me a picture and gave me some extra tips on care of the fireplace. He gave me great advice and also advised me how to buy the best flu cover for a good price.

It was their professional opinion and recommendation that before I have the chimney cleaned, the prefab chimney (intended for a life of 20 years) should be replaced as well as the fireplace. The wood-burning fireplace interior shows signs of warping and has a crack in the cement brick. They provided me a line item report totaling an estimated $12,000 should I decide to make the recommended repairs. This would include tear out, rebuild, materials and installation.

The chimneys were cleaned and the "rock chimney décor" was rotten and we could not repair it to allow the flashing to seal and prevent leaking so I had the rocks removed. they did a great job and they were priced fair. More than I expected due to the bad "chimney rocks" I have no clue on when this was done & do not remember the price exactly - sorry but I would call them and use them again!

Service was provided in a timely and efficient manner. There have been no more leaks.

The entire process was smooth and easy, from scheduling an appointment to the cleaning itself. They gave me a 2-hour time window when I scheduled, which was reduced to one hour the night before. The technician called me 30 minutes in advance of my appointment, and was very professional. Excellent customer service all around! And our chimney looks great...quality job well done. I would definitely use Chimney Sweeps of America again!

Mark came out to inspect our gas fireplace and found that the thermopile had a good amount of carbon build up that was causing it to not produce enough millivolts to operate properly. He cleaned the thermopile and glass and now our fireplace works and looks great. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process. We were given before and after pictures as well as a detailed work order explaining everything that was inspected and cleaned. Overall excellent experience.

Fine. I wanted my fireplaces good to go, and they are. I was surprised at the expensive upkeep work that was recommended, though if is probably warranted , just wasn't expecting that.

For the first scheduled appt, the serviceman did not show up and when we called we found out that he got tied up extra long on an earlier job that did not go as easily as planned. This took place in the mountains out of cell phone range so he was unable to keep in contact. Although this was inconvenient and disappointing, I do understand that this type of thing occurs but did ding them a bit on punctuality rating. They made a good effort to reschedule promptly and showed up on time for the second appt. I was not actually present at the site as it was a rental but they performed the inspection and reported that a cleaning was not needed. It seemed to go well and aside from the initial missed appt, I didn't have any complaints.

Detected a burning odor on a relatively new gas fireplace and thought it was time to get it inspected. Mark showed up on time and gave our fireplace a thorough checkout. CO inspection, backup batteries, glass cleaned, valve checked, no gas leaks, and answered all my questions in detail. In the end it turns out I was smelling some dust burning off, which is normal and will go away. Very happy I choose Chimney Sweeps of America and was able to get the inspection and the reassurances we were looking for. Will be getting a regular inspection from this company, thank you!

We had Chimney Sweeps of America come out to service, clean and inspect our wood stove and chimney. The service provider was on time, friendly, professional and thorough. We will use them again.

I was provided with pictures to show the before and after. When he cleaned the chimney he let me know we didn't have a chimney cap in place any more. He was able to install one before he left. The areas around the wood stove and the fireplace were cleaned up well enough you couldn't tell any work had been done.

The technician was knowledgeable, efficient, and very thorough. We will be using them to get our new chimney up to code and best working order.
