David was really great to work with. He gave me a fair estimate for the work, cheerily managed what was a particularly tedious project and was flexible working around a few rain delays. He s a genuinely nice person, too, which really helps when you re trusting someone with expensive repairs. He was also very kind to my rescue puppy who was both curious and wanting to bark nonstop! Lastly, other than the beautiful job he did, you would never know he was here because he was so careful to pick up/clean. Not an easy task when doing trim repair outside. I ve already started a list of other projects that he can help with in the future. Thanks, again, so much for the great work!

He has done a lot of different types of work for me including: ceramic tile, installing laminate flooring, a significant amount of trim work, drywall, framed in a new shower, and light concrete work. He does high end work and it does take longer, but looks great.

Hiring In the Grain Houseworks was a great experience, as they delivered for me on every aspect! I am a carpenter and the work performed was on time, done efficiently, works well and looks great! The custom gate installed opens easily swings shut gently and was made to fit in the space required. It matches the rest of my porch and I get compliment after compliment from neighbors and friends. I also had a few other repairs and they were repaired the same day. It is great to have someone so easy going and happy go lucky repair all of my items in one afternoon. Most importantly, the cost was fair and that means most to me. I have added In the Grain in my phone and plan on using them next time I need someone handy!
