They were excellent. They did a really good job. I will definitely be using them again.

Well Alex called at 9am on the Friday and told me he was at my home to do the work. I got home at 3pm expecting them to still be there. They were gone, just 6 hours, the yard was cleaned up, aerated, mowed, edging was done,weeds, leaves and in all looked good, all was left to do was mulch and trim of dead branches off a few bushes. Alex showed up Saturday and told me to finish the work, he would need to be paid the $300.00 for work done. I asked him why when I got home at 3pm there was no one there. He had told me that he had 3 men there to do the work. Ok FINE,I paid him and asked when they would be back to finish. The south side of the house was not even touched. There were weeds and trash that WE had to clean up. He them told me that it would cost me $700.00 more for 4 yards of mulch, spray for the weeds, which should have been done, finish trimming the trees and bushes. I told Alex I would call and let him know after I spoke with my wife. After talking with my wife, we decided NO way were we going to hand over $700.00 when he originally told us $300 - $350. This is not what I expected from my first experience with a referral off Angies List. DISAPPOINTED

Not good. No one ever responded to any of my calls or inquires. I understand companies are busy or aren't taking new customers. But CALL people back to explain such. It takes 5 minutes max to make that happen.

Alex is very professional. I called to get an estimate for work. He gave by that afternoon, gave me his pricing, and then came the next day to do the work. They regularly mow and trim our lawn and have also trimmed all the trees and shrubs on our property. They do a great job with the yard and are always very courteous in our interactions. If they are not able to come when expected, they call to let us know. We've been very happy with their services.

They came out October of last year and I think I paid him about $800. He is good, his work is always just right, he is neat and his price was very competitive. He left his card at my door and I decided to give him a chance. He gave me the ideas about the rock laying and gave me a good price to do it. I'm happy with the way it looks.

They did a fantastick job. They went above and beyond. They communicated with us clearly. Their clean up was great.

George confirmed my appt at 6:30pm. They never showed up or called. I called them at 7:30pm, and still haven't received a call back explaining what happened. They won't be getting my business.

Alex and Sons is a very positive, they are just wonderful people. It had snowed her in Denver and they came to clean my snow, they were prompt, they were concerned, my husband was out of town and the price was great. And just the commitment that they had, they said they had so many homes that they had to clean up from the snow, we got 8 inches of snow, they said they would be here even if it was late, sure enough they squeezed me in because I was frantic. Not only was the customer service, the price, they are great. So now they installed our sod, they cut our grass, they are just great people to work with. They really have great people skills. For the snow I think they charged me like $45 to clean, I think I gave them $75 for cleaning up the snow. The sod installation was probably $2,000. This was about a month ago.

I notice Alex & George working in the neighborhood for a awhile. I asked them for a quote for my front and back fall yard clean-up. Lot of hedged pruning, lower branch removal, one bush removed and general clean-up. The crew worked hard, delivered high quality results to the specifications I requested. I found Alex and George to be very knowledgeable and had refreshing approach to doing the job right way as requested. This is a family run business that you can call, talk the job over with and get your yard maintenance job done the way you want! A old school business approach, well done!

I like everything about them. They do excellent work. They also clean up well after themselves. They are always on time and courteous. We also like that they maintain or ornamental grasses and do other little extras without us having to ask. The edging always looks wonderful. They have been very consistent. Many of our neighbors use there services after seeing our yard.
