We were very pleased with their work, professionalism and timelines. Would highly recommend them to friends and family.
Description of Work: We had a small tile project that involved removing carpet and setting tile in front of a raised fireplace hearth. Gary and his helper did an outstanding job! They were prompt, gave great advice, cleaned up and were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them. I will keep him in mind for other projects that come up.

Gary showed up right on time. They worked until completed in a half a day and the bench was awesome. They were both professional and friendly. I will definitely call them again for any carpentry project.

Gary came highly recommended and immediately set me at ease with his approach and openness. While not the lowest cost provider, Gary and his team were well worth it. Because the job scope was large and we were in a time crunch, Gary brought in a couple of trim carpenters. Nate and Cory were excellent, great attitude, attention to detail and very easy to work with - I would also recommend them highly also. The thing that I appreciated most was that Gary was always available on the phone and very responsive on follow up work. We had several items on the cabinets that needed to replaced/fixed. Doors that needed adjustments etc. Just call Gary and next thing you know, he has been in and out and the work is done! He also has a great depth of experience, and part of that is knowing when to say no. Gary was always clear about what he does and does not do - this helped manage expectations - and we appreciated that.

Services were for one of my rental houses. Gary scheduled in a timely manner, kept me informed and texted pictures of progress, and completed work in a timely manner. The work was high quality and professional. I will be using Gary for any future projects!

Description of Work: They rebuilt my back porch and put in pressure treated lumber. It looks wonderful. They are coming back to install bird spikes in my pole barn to keep out nesting/roosting mourning doves who have taken it over. Their droppings are causing a health hazard and making a mess of my car. The bird spikes are included in the price above. They do not hurt the birds, but rather deter them from roosting.

After the tile installer raised the height of the floor when leveling the floor, the front door did not operate correctly and hit on the tile floor in several places. Tiler shaved off the bottom of the door but it still didn't work properly. Gary knew immediately how to correct the door problem and ordered the parts. When the parts came in he was here on time and fixed the door in no time. Excellent work at a reasonable price. Will definitely use him again.

Gary was prompt in returning my calls and in scheduling an appointment to quote the work. When we met for the quote, he explained the details of the work that would be required and his concerns\confidence that he could do the job. He set a date for the work at only a week out from our initial meeting which met my needs to get the work done quickly. The day before starting the work, he called to confirm that he would be there the next morning and was again on time and ready to start work as promised. The bannister install went very smoothly and is quality workmanship. He and his assistant were very polite and professional. They completed the job in a day and I am very satisfied with their work. I would definitely hire Gary for other carpentry and remodel projects in my home based on this experience and the quality of his work.
Description of Work: I contracted Gary to install a bannister for a stairway in my home. It needed to be not only functional, but also to housing codes and quality workmanship and appearance.

Terrific! Very quick call back initially, measurements taken that same week. About two weeks later the door arrived and they were able to quickly install. It took just a couple of hours and now we have a great bathroom door. I will certainly use Reardon Carpentry again.
Description of Work: Measured for, ordered and installed a new solid core door for our bathroom, which included some framing correction and a new custom transition. Also included trim.

Description of Work: "We had what amounted to 5 different jobs done in one package. Time was not critical for us so the jobs were done one by one over the course of the summer. This is a father and son team, they work well together. They don't smoke, don't swear and don't leave a mess. | |One of the jobs they did was to install a beadboard ceiling on our 3 sided veranda. I was out of town for part of this job and when I returned I saw they had butt jointed the two 90 degree corners. It wasn't wrong, it was just not the choice I would have made. I told them I didn't like it and without a word of complaint, they changed it to a 45 degree miter, even though it cost them a couple of days. | |I will absolutely use these guys again. I trust them to know what they are doing, I trust them alone in my house and I know they will do an excellent job. | |Disclaimer: Their sister/daughter is employed by my wife in her business. That is how we first found out about them. I don't believe this made any difference in the way they dealt with us. I can't overstate how pleased we are with their work."

I chose him because I found him on Angie’s List where he was highly rated. He however turned out way to expensive and is not a certified general contractor. He was a nice guy to talk to and very pleasant and everything with no problems. He was also very courteous and seemed to know what he was doing but I was a little uncertain because he was not a licensed general contractor. He was very good when it came to interactions but with his pricing he was very bad.

I called Gary on Thursday March 21st and he started the following day. Gary helped with the list of materials I bought for his use and gave excellent advice. He finished on Wednesday the 27th and did a fantastic job. The fan is installed properly, the new grout makes the shower look brand new and the new tile and baseboard look great. Gary is friendly, professional, prompt and honest. I've already hired him for more work and won't hesitate to do so again in the future. I highly recommend Gary Reardon and Reardon Carpentry Services for any carpentry, handyman task or bathroom remodel.
Description of Work: We are prepping a house for sale and the upstairs bathroom needed a new exhaust fan, shower rod, grout in the shower and basically an entire new floor.

Description of Work: I had a lot of piddly little jobs that nobody seemed to want to be bothered with. He fixed bypass closet doors, replaced the track, fixed drywall, broken cabinet, etc. I had numerous people stand me up, etc . Gary Reardon showed up exactly on time, gave me a very fair quoted and then stuck to that quote when all was done. He was thorough, tidy, and professional. I highly recommend. And when I have a bigger job, or hear of someone who does, I have no problem recommending Gary.

Mr. Reardon has been my "go to guy" anytime I need anything done. He is wonderful to work with because of his honesty, patience, integrity, trustworthyness and he is always professional. I never felt that I was over charged for anything he did and I have spent a lot of money with him. I feel confident in recommending him to anyone. I have had a business relationship with Mr. Reardon since 1997 when I hired him to finish my basement. He was very patient and understanding to work with and accepted my changes to the plans with no objection. He wanted it to be the way I wanted it. He helped when I remodeled my kitchen and worked with my contractor by making custom cabinetry and getting everything set up for the countertops. All the work he has done for me has been done to perfection. He is always on time, calls if he gets delalyed and get all the jobs accomplished in a timely manner.
Description of Work: Mr. Reardon has done several projects for me. He has finished my basement and did all the work except the carpet. He did the electrical, plumbing, tiling, dry wall, framing, painting, trim work, cabinets and countertops. Additionally he built a custom kitchen cabinet, leveled and preped the cabinets for granite counter tops. He also replaced my wood deck with new composite decking and built me a custom gate. He layed Bamboo flooring in my Master Bedroom and Office. He has also done other smaller jobs for me like door adjustments, cabinet door adjustments and installing roof and gutter heat tape. Mr. Reardon has been my "go to guy" anytime I need anything done. He is wonderful to work with because of his honesty, patience, integrity, trustworthyness and he is always professional. I never felt that I was over charged for anything he did and I have spent a lot of money with him. I feel confident in recommending him to anyone.
