A-1 Flatwork

I could not believe that Russ and his hard working crew, who put in long hours and even worked on a Saturday all day, , was able to pull the impossible off , and from a rough sketch, at that. not a blueprint , but a piece of paper with a rough drawing on it and with 3 days of labor , was able to get everything done,and that incredible job was done way beyond our expectations, do yourself a favor skip, all of the other contractors and hire Russ, because I know my neighbors are looking into to doing just that, after they saw what Russ , and don't forget his hard working crew can do , thank you Russ

Driveway was poured in August 2018. In early 2019 we noticed cracking and part of the driveway crumbling. We reached out to Russ via email, phone & certified mail and he has not responded to us.

Russ and crew did a great job and was courteous and professional throughout the entire process of the replacement of our concrete driveway and walkway. The end result looks great!

Russ did an excellent job with the addition to my existing driveway. From the time Russ came over to look over the job and take measurements, he explained everything that would need to be done, and his process. He had everything on the quote. If there was anything that needed to be discussed he would call and explain it to me and we would agree what needed to be done. The driveway looks awesome, I would recommend Russ, he did a great job.

Went very well. The trench drain was very technical and difficult to install. They stayed with it until it was correct.

Russ and his crew get an A+ for replacing our driveway. The project had a lot of unexpected turns, but Russ handled all issues promptly and professionally. The crewed seemed to work as if it was their own driveway they were replacing. All little details were taken care of. Plus, everyone was nice and easy to talk to. During the September 2013 Boulder floods, our driveway was undermined and settled in a way that was directing surface runoff back towards the house resulting in ongoing problems with water entering the basement even with minor rains. We took bids from a number of concrete contractors. We chose Russ of A-1 flatwork because he spent the time to talk through the big picture problem and was willing to bounce ideas back and forth to find a solution that addressed the drainage problem, not just pour a new slab. His bid was very competitive and he and all of those working with him were a pleasure to have around the house. Russ kept us up to date on progress on the project, which took several days to complete. We are really pleased with the way the new driveway looks.

Russ and his office were one of the most professional companies we contacted for an estimate. Unfortunately, we didn't get to choose the contractor, so we didn't use their services. They were very prompt and responsive to all of our questions, concerns, and timelines. Russ was very knowledgable and his estimate included all the options we had discussed.

Workers showed up on time and worked continuously until complete. Professional job as far as I can tell using an overlay product they had never used before. Great job.
