ROSS DIRTWORKS

I liked him a lot. I would have gone with him, but he was honest enough to tell us that we would be better off with someone who had better equipment.

We had a 15x30 ft. in ground pool that had seen better days, and we wanted to reclaim our backyard. My brother owns an excavator, so I removed the pool/concrete with him, but I still had a big hole to fill. Ross Dirtworks did an excellent job hauling in the fill, re-grading the yard, and topping it off with top-soil. They specialize in smaller excavating jobs. They were a lot less than the landscapers I had quote the job. Bill (the owner) was extremely easy to work with. He told me upfront that the finish he left would not be ready for seed, and would need some work with a rake to get it ready. He did a very good job getting it smoothed out, so I only spent about a half-day raking, seeding and mulching to get seed down. The job took a couple days longer to complete due to weather and some other jobs he was working on, but I was not on a time-table, and he understood that. He did make every effort to work with me, so I would just say be clear with what your schedule is.
