Founded in 1982, Grand Woodworks is a full service custom millwork company, located just outside of Winter Park, Colorado. Since its inception, Grand Woodworks has grown from its start in the Conrad family garage to its current 12,000 square foot facility in Tabernash, Colorado. Grand Woodworks provides a package of products for the builder based client including, but not limited to, doors of all sorts, stair systems, closet systems, hardware, architectural millwork such as base and case moulding, mantles, flooring and ceiling materials. Grand Woodworks is renowned for their beautiful custom cabinetry hand crafted on site. The company also offers cabinetry by Plato Woodwork, Crystal, Great Northern and Merillat, countertops in a vast array of materials, and appliances. Grand Woodworks has built a solid reputation serving thousands of residential and commercial clients from the front range, western slope and mountain communities including Aspen, Telluride, Breckenridge, Vail, Steamboat, Keystone, Copper Mountain and of course their own Winter Park and surrounding Grand County. Over the years, Grand Woodworks has had their work featured in magazines such as Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, Log Home Living, Fine Home Building, Better Homes and Gardens Kitchen and Bath issues and several books including "Contemporary Western Design" and "Ski Style". Grand Woodwork's dedicated staff offers an experience level hard to match in the millwork industry. Their talented craftsmen make some of the finest custom woodwork in the Western United States. Owners Jack and Karin Conrad take great pride in being personally involved with each project and are passionate about the skill and insight they have to offer their clientele. With 35 years of experience in the building industry, Jack is exceptionally knowledgeable regarding doors, hardware, millwork, stair systems and installation details. Karin, certified in design with the National Kitchen and Bath Association (CKD/NKBA), is in house offering her extensive design background to meet the challenge of bringing your dream to reality. Knowing that communication between client and designer is the cornerstone of good design, Karin and Jack carefully listen to understand what is important to you and strive to share your vision. As many projects often have a professional interior designer on board, Karin and Jack are adept at working with your designer to coordinate your projects various levels of detail with Grand Woodworks' offerings in order to bring your project to a beautiful completion.
