What a great experience. We had heard about Milestone from a friend who had purchased window coverings and because they were so pleased we checked them out. What a great decision on our part. We went into the showroom and looked at all the various types of Plantation Shutters, colors etc. Carisa was outstanding. She explained everything in a way that we could understand and we feel gave us honest reviews of the various qualitys. We were in the process of moving into a new home and everything needed to be painted. We liked one of the colors of the walls in the showroom and Carisa even got us a sample of the color. The color is now an accent wall in our great room and looks fantastic with the shutters. We picked out what shuters we wanted and then Carisa arranged for Gary to come to our home and measure everything. Gary came to the house, measured everything and even came back when we realized we missed a small window. The shutters were installed quickly, cleanly and look very professional by Brent. Brent showed us how they worked, how to clean them, reviewed the warranties and answered all of our questions. We are confident we have great quality at a excellent price. Working with Carisa, Gary and Brent was a great expereince and we have already recommened Milestone to some friends for their home.

The estimate and installation processes went great - professional service, prompt. Timeliness was good, and product was as expected. We have had a couple of challenges since. Namely, the wood blinds we had installed on doors are too loose and cumbersome and loud, so we have basically just collapsed them up and do not use the blinds on the doors; this turned out to be a waste of money. Also, we had many instances within the first few months where repairs were needed. Although they are guaranteed, we were told that we would be charged for the service call for them to come out to fix them. Instead, we took the problematic blinds down ourselves, took them to their location, went back later to pick them up, and reinstalled them ourselves. This is way too much trouble for something that is under warranty. But if we had asked them to come to fix them, we would've literally had to pay hundreds of additional dollars in order to have them fixed. For these reasons, I think we'd turn another direction if we needed similar services in the future.

Gary came out and gave us an estimate on plantation shutters for our living room window. He was prompt and very professional. He reviewed all of the different options available and also made suggestions due to the size of the window. The shutters arrived in seven weeks, as promised. Installation was great. Gary and Brant arrived on time. They answered all of my questions and also offered to move all of the furniture back. The cost was as quoted.

Mr. Brian Daily from Milestone Shutters was very good. He came out to our house and took the measurements. He made recommendations and it wound up looking great. He didn?t pressurize us. We had a 25% discount coupon that had come in the mail. We got seven 2 inches wooden blinds, which looked really nice. They offered the lowest price as compared to the other people who had given us estimates. The measurements done by Mr. Daily were different from that of the others, but in the end, it actually wound up looking much better than what the others would have done. The end result was very nice.

Milestone Shutters did a great job. This is the second time we used them. We had Milestone Shutters installed in our first house and both the product and service were excellent, so when we bought our new house and wanted shutters, it was an easy decision to go with Milestone. We had the composite shutter installed and have had no issues with the shutters in our first house (it's been 4yrs) and so far no issues with the new shutters (2 days). Our first house gets a lot of sun and I am very please that the shutters have not faded or turned yellow (I had read during my research that this could be an issue with inferior products). We also have a very active son (3yr old), who loves to help - so he says - with opening/closing the shutters. I wouldn't say that they were extremely abused but definitely abused more than average. The shutters are extremely durable and have stood up to banging, slamming, being colored on and having food thrown on them among other things. The shutters still look new and operate perfectly. Everyone at Milestone is very professional and pleasant to work with. Greg who came and did the measurements was very knowledgeable and gave us some good advice to help us decide what we wanted. Dan and Brant who did the installation were very courteous and extremely careful not to damage the floors or windows. Everything went as scheduled from ordering to receiving and installation. I would recommend Milestone Shutters.

WE HAVE CONTRACTED WITH MILESTONE SHUTTERS BEFORE AND HAVE THE PLYWOOD SHUTTERS THROUGHOUT OUR HOME. WE HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF INSTALLATION AND PRODUCT.
