He took us to view a system in operation before we bought and promptly followed through on his quote and any other requests we made of him. A good buying experience. The installers put in both a new furnace and central air. The entire project took less than a day and we were pleased with the work

They were quick and professional. Don't really know about the quality of the work...will know in years to come since they just installed 2 a/c units at our new home. I was happy with the price because it was nearly 1/2 of what the builder was offering.

Excellent work in all areas

Problem: Brand new York LX furnace two stage- within 4 months began making squealing noises when the blower turned on and off. Gradually started squealing even while the blower was operating continually. Original installer replaced the motor but not the blower wheel) , but upon completion the blower still squealed when it turned on and off. High Energy (original installer) refused to resolve the problem without labor charges (furnace is under one year??) Steel Bro's customer service rep, Michelle gave me a guaranteed price for the work I needed done that was reasonable and guaranteed satisfaction of the work. She called me after the service was completed, and advised that if the problem worsened that they would work with me. Note: When the Steel Bro's service man left the furnace seemed to be operating quietly, but shortly after started making the same noise when turning off and then later also when it turned on, however at a much lower pitch, which is not intolerable at this time. The furnace sits in a closet on the main floor between the kitchen and dinning room which accounts for this noise at the higher level not acceptable. I definitely think I got a Lemon and am very disappointed in this furnace as well as the guy I bought it from.
