He removed the pump from the washing machine and used a needle nose plier to remove debris from one of the openings in the pump. He announced that the machine was fixed give me the bill and then left. The next morning one of my sons attempted to wash a load but found the machine still wasn't working. He called Mark's and told him the problem, but Mark's informed my son that he did not work on Saturdays and would not be able to get back to us until Monday or Wednesday of the next week. My wife died on that Sunday so I called Mark's on Monday and left a message that I had childen coming in from around the country and I would need the washing machine. Mark's returned my call immediately and told me he would be out sometime on that Monday. As I was returning from the funeral home Mark was leaving the house and told me that the machine was fixed. Again my son tried to wash a load, but again the machine was not working. I called Mark's back three times before he answered his phone. At first he told me that if he came out again he would have to charge me $800.00 because he would have to take down the machine completely. He then told me to pull the machine to the door and drape the hose outside so the water could drain. Then he told me he would have to charge me $1,000.00 in he came to the house again. Another son arrived from Minnesota who is in the National Guard and did two tours in Iraqi. I told him the problem and he said that he would take a look. He removed the front and back panels and removed the pump, and than he did what Mark's failed to do, he took the pump apart and found that the center of the pump was clogged. He removed the debris and reassembles the pump and put the front and back panels in place which took him 45 minutes. The washing machine has been working with absolutely no problems since then. My suggesting to Mark's is if the job is beyond them do not attempt it.
